As the free campgrounds had no fire and did not allow fires this was the next best place. It cost $20 a night to tent a spot. The site is very open but is just across the highway from town. The site has water and power but no washrooms from the time of 12am-6am due to them being located in the convenient store. Had a great time!

Stayed here the night while passing through from Banff back to the USA. I did a little research on the town and its history and it's so incredibly charming. There is a free campsite (first 3 days, then $10/day) that is hands down the best campsite I've stayed at on my trip - clean running water, toilets, picnic tables. Loved the solar park but unfortunately couldn't visit the StarTrek museum! Worth a visit if driving by!

This is a good clean family campground. All services and more. Staff are really great and helpful. Huge fireworks shows, nice beach, giant overflow so there's always a spot. Train rides and more. My son looks forward to going here, it's his favorite place.

Very very very clean. And if you have a problem the women we talked to try to help. Very clean showers and toilets and there is a ball field and playground on the grounds.
