Oldman Dam Provincial Recreation Area
49 113 St, Blairmore, Alberta, T0K 0E0, Canada
DO NOT BOOK HERE! it was absolutely the worst campsite I have been to. There are soooo many bugs and there is nothing to do. The the lots were just weird.
Castleview Campground

Gravel and weeds. Thats all this place is. If you are looking for a nice place to camp, explore other options
Arrow Lake Campground
West Glacier, Montana, 59936, United States
Great camp location - great fishing at arrow lake. Reasonably tough hike to get there, but worth it.
Sprague Creek Campground
West Glacier, Montana, 59936, United States
Stay Away! It's Terrible!
OK, not really. Awesome views of Lake McDonald. Campground is adjacent to the road-to-the-sun, so it's a little noisy during daylight hours. Not every site has a bear box, so you'll keep your stuff in the car. Campground is full early, and the choice sites require an extra early start to score. Stay out of site #13. It's mine!
Waterton River Campground
Continental Divide Trail, Browning, Montana, 59417, United States
This campsite is my least favorite in Glacier. The trail to get to it was convoluted and overgrown. The swinging bridge that we took to get to it seemed dangerous and was missing planks and hardware. I recommend taking the horse ford if you are coming from the Goat Haunt area. It will take you directly to the bearpoles. The campsite itself was actually not that bad. It had easy access to water and an outhouse style toilet.
Townsite Campground
200 Vimy Ave, Waterton, Alberta, T0K 2M0, Canada
My family and I have had so much fun while camping at the Townsite Campground at Waterton Lakes. The bathrooms are clean, the water is great, and we can walk or ride our bikes everywhere. My 8 year old son took me kayaking, we relaxed, and we loved to natural beauty that surrounds us! The added bonus is that the campsite is right on the shoreline of Waterton Lake...the perfect place to skip rocks or for an afternoon nap after our hiking.
Civeo Athabasca Lodge
Fort Mackay, Alberta, T0P 1C0, Canada
Jenny Craig Heads up for anybody coming here, this place should change its name to Jenny Craig as its a great place to shed a few pounds. The hot meals are typical civeo poor quality and little to no selection. The bag up lunchroom is one of the worst i've seen in 25 years, very limited selection and everyone has to use the same set of tongs too take individual items (guess they never heard of covid). The rooms are Jack and Bill cleaned once a week or so. Make sure you bring a router if you want wifi in your room if not you can buy one for $55 out of a vending machine. Also if you forget something theres no store here.
Civeo Beaver River Executive Lodge
Alberta 63 N, Fort Mackay, Alberta, T0P 1C0, Canada
the good:
food ordering system, good sized room with a fridge, good WiFi speed in the room, can watch streaming no problem, own thermostat in your room. good sized bathroom with good heating in the bathroom so you don't freeze in the shower. art in the room! phone in the room can be handy if you don't have a cellphone in 2018
the bad:
only one portion at dinner(first camp I see like that really cheap for 200bucks a day) 15yo SD tv, having to swipe your card everywhere like in a prison, paper thin wall. nearly got thrown out of the buffet room at 12pm since its staff only, 200 bucks a day and can't eat a soup for lunch unless it's bagged in the morning. lots of walking, not. enough parking spaces. being looked at like a criminal for not swipijg your card entering the buffet room.
not that bad but I don't think I want to go back there.

Barge Landing Lodge
Fort McMurray, Alberta, T9H 3G2, Canada
I currently work for Thompson Bro's construction, at Suncor's plant and I stay at Barge Landing Lodge. The camp overall has been a pleasant stay for my shift. Food that they serve here is well prepared and the staff and security have been professional. The bus service that is provided as well. The house keeping has been awesome. All the staff that work here to keep this lodge up and running do a fantastic job!!! This camp comes with a fitness area for both men and women, a convenient store as well, and also mark works warehouse has a mobile unit that comes up here, if you are in need of your own work gear!!! My experience has been very positive!!! Thanks to all the hard that the staff put in to keep this camp up and running.
