Camp

My wife and I stayed at Jinglepot for 2 days in late July 2017. The site and clean, comfortable rest rooms were nice. Also, we really enjoyed the amazing flower gardens, which were extra special. But the best part of our stay was the hospitality of John, the owner. He gave us many suggestions for local attractions which turned out to be gems. Also, he helped us find a service at a church in the city along with great tips about the best route and most importantly how to find a parking spot. For adults I give this campground highest ratings.

We had a great experience given the circumstances we found ourselves in. Our house sold too soon and the new one wasn’t built in time. We camped for 7 weeks in tents with our puppy and teenager and made Brannen Lake Campsite our home. We felt safe and had everything we needed to make this experience as comfortable as possible. There was no noise after hours and our belongings and privacy were respected. Darcy always made rounds and kept an eye on our site. He took pride in keeping the grounds clean and making us feel welcome. Loraine was kind in allowing us to stay so long given the situation we were in. I miss the owls at night and the birds in the morning. Beautiful place. Quiet, clean and family friendly. Will be back.

Love this campground! We bring our family here every summer. It's quiet, there's a nice amount of space between each site and a great time ocean swimming spot called Mermaid Cove.

Beautiful beach (sand and rocks) and day picnic area with fire rings, children's playground, bathrooms and trails. Campground adjacent. Dog friendly. One of my favourite spots just 20 minutes past Sooke!!

Stayed a week last summer and returning again this year. Curtis is an excellent host and very accommodating . We just love this place.

Awesome place must be here before 5:00 pm to get camping ground. Have cash in hand each day 20$. Get lot of blankets. No hand soap available here.

great beach. you can rent boat spots on the dock. washrooms were adequate, free showers. had a great time. the camping spots are not very private

Cleanest campground bathrooms ever! Mainly RV sites, there are a couple cabins and two large tent sites right by the water. Very well maintained!

Absolutely beautiful and well maintained. Great accessible paths to wander around on. Great areas to explore.

I like

This is a very well kept park. We enjoyed our visit. Very nice park caretaker. Playground, beach, boat launch, trails. There are trains that run nearby.
