Had a 9am appointment, at 10:30 I was still waiting with no signs of the doctor coming in anytime soon. I walked out without being seen. Over an hour wait is totally unacceptable.

This place is amazing Debbie,Mara,Heather, and Emily! Dr.Claytor and Emily make the exam room feel like a safe place to just express everything that you don't like about yourself and want to change. Her compassion and love for patient care just radiates off her. You can tell she truly cares about people and nothing is force or "fake/robot textbook bedside manner". She's 100% real with you and she gives the best advice and information on things that you will need after the surgery. Ex: what products(gauze, scar cream, anti embolism socks, wedge pillows, shower chair etc) to buy and where to get the best prices. She like a human Pinterest. All the advice, hacks, and tips helped me so much! And she explained in details how 1-4 week post surgery would Play out and what to do and not to do during those weeks. Seriously she was dead on right. She's amazingly good at her job and you definitely tell she loves what she does.
Dr.Claytor (Plastic Surgeon, perfectionist,a true artist, the kindest nicest human being you will ever meet, extraordinary Doctor)
Seriously I could go on and on how extraordinary he is. The first time you meet him you are blown away by how kind and down to earth he is. In my mind, I had this image of PS being these swallow/cold doctors....like how the media portrays them. I have also read a lot of negative reviews online about PS behaving in this manner. I never expected him to be so...human. I did so much research on him and learned about all his accomplishments, awards, the fact that he is well know in the area as a hotshot awarded Top Doctor yearly, and that he was chosen by Dr. R. Barrett Noone (aka a living legend, a man who has been a highly credentialed surgeon) to carry on his legacy. You can literally google all of this...so yeah I was intimidated to say the least and really nervous to meet him. He for sure exceeded all my expectations. He took his time listening to me and understanding my needs. He did a full assessment, then he fully explained my options+what would work best for me.
I had 2 appointments setup with other 2 PS in my area. After meeting Dr.Claytor and the whole experience with the his staff + seeing his work.. I canceled those appts. I am so glad I did. He was the best and right DR. for me. Even before I got my surgery, I recommend my sister for a breast augmentation. That's how much confidence I have in him. My sister had her surgery a week after I had mine. She is so pleased with her surgery. Her breast look so amazing and natural looking.
My surgery was on Aug 1 and I was so scared. Dr.Claytor helped calm my nerves before going into the OR. The recovery was like I could have never imagined. I read so many crazy things about the pain level and the hard recovery etc. Dr.Claytor checked on me every single day, while I recovered in the hospital. He also called me to check in every night the first week while I was at home. I had my surgery at 6am, later at night around 7-8pm that same day Dr.Claytor left a dinner and showed up at the hospital to check up on me. The nurse had called him because I was puking a lot and had vertigo due to the anesthesia. I felt bad because when he showed up he was all dressed up. That's the kind of doctor and great person he is. He goes above and beyond to make sure his patients are ok. I am 4 weeks post op. The first 2 days where the hardest. I stopped painkillers on day 3 and switch to over the counter. I was moving around with just soreness in days 3-4. I have to say in 3 weeks I haven't felt pain or anything relating to complications from the surgery itself. I love my stomach and my breast implants are dropping into place. This is thanks to Dr.Claytor special techniques with the tummy tuck surgery. The way he tighten the muscles and the type of sutures he used and their placement. He explained that I would be up and walking around day 3-4. He was right...I wasn't sure because I read online that around week 3 is normally when people are up and walking + sleeping in their bed.I did all of this in day 4.

Dr. Kung is an amazing plastic surgeon. He is brilliant but down to earth. He really understands the procedures and oridicts better than any doctor I've seen. I am so happy with the results which are subtle yet remarkable. His staff is also great-friendly and very competent.

He left me completely disfigured after a Rhinoplasty as well. Only went in to have a small area repaired from a piercing. He never repaired that area at all. Instead he Collapsed my nasal wall, put a hole in my septum, Completely closed up one of my nostrils, and left it sitting much Lower than my other nostril. narrowed the bridge of my nose and left me with a huge bubolous tip. We never discussed touching the tip of my nose but yet it now protrudes from my face. He squeezed my nostrils together and left Cartledge twisted and hanging down between my nostrils also!!! He runined my life!!!

I have had the extraordinary opportunity to work alongside Dr. Ambro and Dr. Chappell for nearly two months as I finalized my studies as a physician assistant. From the moment I entered the premises, I was welcomed with warm smiles and open arms, this is not always the case as a student in a new environment. The office is immaculate and the staff is well trained and very capable.
Dr. Ambro has an unparalleled bedside manner with his patients and it is evident that he is adored and revered by his peers, staff, and patients alike. His attention to detail is uncanny. Dr. Ambro brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table that is equally matched by humility and character. He makes each patient feel as though he/she is his ONLY patient and is attentive to concerns and questions. He anticipates patient’s apprehensions and is well prepared for discussions. His pre-operative and post-operative instructions are well outlined and are among the most thorough I have seen throughout my education and career. He is truly a jack-of-all-trades and a MASTER of them all. He is your “go-to” for everything above the clavicles and offers a multitude of non-surgical rejuvenation treatments including, but not limited to laser services, fillers, and Botox with dramatic, yet natural results.
Dr. Chappell is an integral part of the team and focuses on breast augmentation and reconstruction, as well as, body contouring and minimally invasive body sculpting among other procedures. As a student observing many consults and interactions with patients, I was very impressed with Dr. Chappell’s ability to navigate sensitive subjects. He spends adequate time with each patient addressing each unique concern and makes a stressful experience a very pleasurable one. It is not always easy to converse about ones “defects”, yet he does so gracefully and with humility. Dr. Chappell is very amicable and went out of his way to welcome me and make me feel as though I was part of the team. I have met students with whom he has worked and my experience was echoed. On a final note, I was very impressed with Dr. Chappell’s drive to learn new information. His desk was filled with articles, journals, and notes about new procedures and new developments in his field of medicine. He is well informed and stays ahead of the times. He will not disappoint!
With regards to the other team members, Le Ann is a very skilled provider who has mastered patient interaction and satisfaction. She navigates BBL and CoolSculpting among other services with expertise and care and is a valuable member of the Annapolis Plastic Surgery team. Above all, she has a wonderful personality and will surely brighten your day. Kristen, the office MA is a beautiful and talented individual that brings a sense of calm to this busy practice. She always goes the extra mile to make patients feel at ease and is very attentive to the needs of the team. She is an invaluable asset to this office. Michelle works tirelessly to provide patients with the best possible experience in compiling all of the necessary documents and preparing for surgery. She is always available to patients to discuss treatment option pricing and facilitate the process leading to surgery. Last, but not least, Kim, the teams licensed medical aesthetician and certified permanent makeup specialist brings unique offerings to this practice. She has a calm and collected personality and makes patients feel at ease when discussing different treatment modalities. She can facilitate the process of choosing what is “right” for each patient’s individual skincare needs and does so without pressuring them. Her expertise in permanent makeup is evidenced by her high patient satisfaction and attention to detail.

Cosmetic Medicine and Surgery at Mercy

I was highly dissatisfied with the way Dr. Chang treated my during my consult.
I met with Dr. Chang in November 2017 for a breast reduction consultation at Mercy Hospital. When I finally met him, he was checking me as a candidate for surgery.
When he had confirmed I was an excellent candidate for a reduction, he changed his mind. My insurance offers coverage for the procedure - but he did not want to proceed with the surgery reduction minimums covered by my insurance. He said "You would be left with nothing."
Then he walked out of the room, saying to "Come back when you change your insurance."
I was then left alone in the consult room for 20 minutes, crying.
I was BILLED for this consult. $248 was billed to my insurance (The insurance Dr. Chang told me to 'just change') and I was sent the remainder bill of $105.10.
Also, HEADS UP: There's a "Clinic Fee" for $36.75. That fee was just to enter Mercy Hospital.
