I had a double mastectomy and Dr. Storm did the reconstruction. I don’t know who the people who gave them 1 star talked to. This office is incredibly friendly. The wait is not usually long but there are only so many rooms and they do not rush patients (unlike other offices.) The nurses are amazing. My little girl came with me to visits and loved the nurses who doted on her. Dr. Storm is very knowledgeable. He caught an infection I had and got me into surgery that day. I could have died. Thank goodness for this office and their staff.

I'm trying to read what others think about the individual plastic surgeons in the KC area, but all of the reviews seem to be by medical entities. Why?

Dr. Young and his staff are all amazing. The women in his office are so friendly and make you feel so comfortable. He is very professional and a great surgeon. I went to 4 different consultations with different surgeons before finding Dr. Young. Everywhere else I was not at all satisfied and never scheduled anything. The day I left Dr. Young's office I knew I had found where I wanted to have my breast augmentation. I scheduled that day and now I am 6 months post op and feel amazing!

Amazing doctor!!

An excellent result and great post-op care for a reduction. Anticipated post pain and well advised of care.Nipple sensation near normal.Most symptoms of large breasts are gone . Reputation as "the Best " still stands in spite of other comments.

Dr. Kriet is truly an expert in his field. My particular operation posed a challenge with asymmetries I was born with. I can say with complete confidence that I trusted Dr. Kriet's abilities and guidance through the entire process. Even though my specific journey required revision rhinoplasty, I am very satisfied with the final results. Dr. Kriet has an empathetic way of speaking to you and will listen with thought to your needs and concerns. His staff is always accommodating and polite. His revision polices are responsible and fair. I feel like he values the patient/ Dr. relationship we have fostered. *photos are of before primary rhinoplasty (left) and 9 months after secondary, revision rhinoplasty (right). I did not posses the actual Dr.'s "after" photos so there is a big difference in lighting.

Last year I decided to get breast reduction surgery. It was a decision I considered for several years before pursuing. I received a referral from my Dr to for Dr. McGrath so I made an appointment. The experience was horrible. During the photos she had to take for the insurance she tried to guilt me into allowing before and after photos on their public website, though there are no shown faces it isn't something many would be comfortable with. She never once mentioned this would be a positive experience, only that the insurance company would probably reject my claim because I was too overweight and said, quote, it is going to make your stomach look a lot bigger. She also suggested several times that I might want to try and start eating better and that she, quote, understood it was really easy to go through the McDonalds drive through every night. Not once did she actually ask me about my diet. She made assumptions based on my appearance, belittled me and tore me down. After the visit I cried for two hours. Afterwards I decided to go to a second consultation and went with the second doctor who was encouraging and let me know what a positive change this reduction would be in my life, and it is. No regrets! Also, the bill for her consultation was twice as much as the surgeon I went with.

If you have to get your eyelid fixed, this is the right doctor. I had a droopy eyelid, which is the layman's language fro an Internal Levator. Dr. Khan was recommended to me by my eye doctor. They said he was the best. They were right! His office took great care of me arranging my surgery. Dr. Khan was professional, friendly and explained the process during the initial exam. He was gentle and efficient during the surgery. Dr. Khan had to be very precise in his work to be sure my droopy eyelid was going to match the other good one. He did a great job. It was perfect. You could tell he knew what he was doing. My eye looks terrific now - I would recommend Dr. Khan and his office for any kind of eye work. He has my vote. Thank you, Janet

I have tried Botox injections before but always ended up with a droopy eye. I wanted to try again so I picked a place close to home. I had my first appointment with Sarah Maxwell, RN at Vargas and was thrilled with the results. She listened carefully and knew exactly how to prevent my droopy eye. I totally trust Sarah with my regular injections now. She is so very good!

I recently had A Breast reduction , My Dr. was Dr. Chandler , He did an amazing job and I am more than satisfied with my results ! My nurse was Stephanie and she is the sweetest most genuine nurse ! I would highly recommend this place for plastic surgery!
