Really they need to get rid of half there staff am sorry really unprofessional.You would think there staff need's the mental help more then the people coming in for help.

My experience here was not only a learning experience..but it taught me that people do care, and to find what is most important to me. The staff were genuinely caring and supportive. F.T.P was a great resource for many things from providing temporary shelter for myself and young children to assisting with paperwork, court preparations, learning about the abusive cycles and that living with someone abusive is not ok. That is is ok to ask for help. They helped to to find a home...and they showed me how to do things for myself. And most importantly they helped me to realize that I can not change someone, they have to want to change for themselves and that I am not responsible for that persons actions. I truly did learn a lot from FTP and I believe that if I hadn't received their help I may not be here today or still living in a repetitive abusive cycle. Thank You Family Transitions Place for helping my family and caring.

Adrienne is amazing. She really understands her patients and offers great sounding advice. Have recommended her to everyone I know. Don't waste your time looking elsewhere she is the best in the industry !!

VERY DISAPPOINTED!! Had a appointment booked for Tuesday at 1 they called monday to confirm then called Tuesday morning for full payment by credit card. Showed up for my meeting having taken my nephew out of school and took the afternoon off work myself to have nobody there. After 15 minutes a guy from a different business called the head office for me and put me on the phone with them thats when i was informed that Mark would not be showing up and that they could set up a new meeting for the following Monday. When i told the lady I was very upset with what happened and I wanted my money refunded she said that they could just leave it with them till I booked another meeting after I told her no way they agreed to give me a refund. I just dont understand how they have a 24hour cancellation policy yet it doesnt apply to the customer. Thanks for wasting my families time completely unprofessional!!!

Somewhat of a mixed review as I wish I had gone over in a little more detail what we needed to get out of the sessions. I personally did not feel I got what I wanted however that said, that might have been on my end. Therapist was very friendly and overall it was a pretty positive experience, even if the result at the end of the day did not really achieve the things I was hoping for.
