Dance Studio

The Owner / Artistic Director of ECDA has been teaching dance to my children for the last decade. I love that her philosophy focuses on helping each student develop self confidence and poise in their movement in a fun environment with a real emphasis on the importance of proper technique. She and her teachers offer all disciplines in this beautiful studio setting. I highly recommend ECDA!

We live in Middle Sackville, however our #dancefamily is in the Head of St. Margaret's Bay, and we insist on making the 25 min drives, multiple times per week, for so many reasons. East Coast Dance Academy is an inclusive dance studio, not only teaching excellence in dance and performance, but nurturing creativity in youth. The brilliant teachers and studio owner provide a warm, positive and encouraging environment, all while the students are developing dance technique in many styles and are building friendships that are sure to last a lifetime. We are so grateful to have found ECDA!

Motion Dance is more than just a Dance Centre! Motion Dance is a family! Every child feels the love and welcome at every single class! The teachers and assistants are amazing and take the time to get to know every single student! The friendships and bonds built make dancing more than just dancing but make dancing life! This will be my daughters 4th year at Motion Dance and she is more excited every year!!

Amazing, my daughter has been going for 4 years and we absolutely love it.

Good for family recreation and exercise. Not expensive for family membership. Adequate parking, food courts and lively place. However, facilities are only recreation grade not professional. Played badminton. Courts are multipurpose with different lines, overhead running track jutting onto some courts interfering with the flight of the birdie, nets are either too high or sagging. They offer badminton training during summer...with these facilities? Individual day passes are expensive. If not serious about professional grade but only exercise oriented, this facility is highly recommended for an annual membership.

Friendly staff. My daughter learn so much from them and loves it there! They also do great kids birthday! Highly recomended

Being an instructor here myself, I can say with confidence that each instructor has a diverse background and something unique to offer. Whether you want to be well rounded in different styles of dance, focus on one specific style, or simply just move your body, Dance Virtuosa can get you there! DV dances for the sake of dancing! As a non-competitive dance school, the focus really is to develop skills through exploration, creation, performance and JOY.
