Great Dance Academy! The teachers are very focused on developing the students dance skills on a competitive level. The Classroom is big and has everything you need for your dance lesson.

This dance life studio is the best experience for your child or yourself, love it

I am in my late 60’s; a father who wanted to dance with his daughter at her wedding without doing the embarrassing middle-school shuffle. On a friend’s recommendation I signed on with John Howardson for five lessons to present a dance that would “impress the guests”. To add to the problems of age and incoordination, my daughter lived in Ottawa and could only make the final two lessons; the first three were on me alone with John. John took my music selection, assessed my readiness, choreographed a routine, and then, with patience, walked me, then led me, then danced me through a routine, starting with the basic box step, and then adding grapevines, New Yorks, turns and twirls. He taught me about weighting my footwork, communicating with my partner and, most importantly, taking the lead. When my daughter came down (who is young and coordinated) he had us fully synchronized in the two remaining lessons. The dance far exceeded my expectations. I am entering the wedding with flair and confidence. I recommend John Howardson without hesitation or reservation for all ages, backgrounds, situations, and levels of ability.
