Did a great job

Kim gave the best pedicure. With an actual massage included where you can lie down with a blanket. Shes memorably calm and kind and you feel relaxed when u leave. A nice departure from those usual loud rushed nail salons.

I've been coming to Hugette's for years and I highly recommend this service. She is a warm and lovely person and very good at what she does. It's not a fancy location but its clean, professional and licenced. Because her rates are cheaper than the fancy spas I can go far more often!

I had a very interesting and not so pleasant encounter with an employee at this spa earlier today. I came to the neighbourhood for a meeting and did research before about this spa so I arrived prior to my meeting as I wanted to inquire and purchase a gift certificate as a gift. I parked in a spot labelled with their business name and got out of my car and headed towards the pay station (near the boathouse restaurant). As soon as I started walking away from my car, a lady came out of the spa raising her voice that I cannot park in this spot as I’m not a customer. I explained that I’m heading to the meter and that I’m coming right in to make a purchase but she proceeded to raise her voice that I am not a customer. I said I definitely will not be now and turned around and walked to my car. The lady came back out with an orange cone and placed in the spot where I had tried to park. I can’t imagine who she was saving the spot for as there was one other empty spot designated to her business. I re-parked in another empty spot without her sign and proceeded to my meeting without making a purchase here as I had planned. Very negative experience overall. Would definitely not recommend this place if this behaviour is any indication of how they treat other existing and potential customers. I would recommend treating everyone fairly and not assuming the worst over a parking spot. Needless to say, when I came out of the meeting the 3 spots designated for this business were all empty and had orange cones on them. Can’t imagine the need to turn away potential customers with so much empty parking.

First time ever getting my blonde eyelashes dyed and Katie did a great job. Really nice space, easy to get to, good parking and looks like she will be adding some practitioners to her space with some cool offerings. Look forward to my next appointment.

Great place! The ladies here are polite, efficient, and masters of their craft. I go to Silky Touch for threading- it takes 2 minutes, costs $8, and I’ve never been disappointed. Forget going to any fancy salon to get your eyebrows shaped and your upper lip hair vanquished...Silky Touch is where it’s at!

I'm two weeks away from graduating the Global Fashion Marketing program and I don't want it to end! I've learned so much from every single instructor and I love how the instructors are actively working in the subjects they are teaching so the information is always fresh and relevant! Going to Blanche doesn't feel like i'm going to school since the classes are so engaging and hands on. They truly allow you to be your creative self and help nourish your talent. The connections you make and the people you meet will be endless when going to Blanche Macdonald and I can't wait to see what the future holds for me!
