This is a fantastic store with friendly staff and heaps of good value crafting stuff. The name 'Dressew' is a little misleading as it sells much more than sewing stuff, with jewellery and leather work supplies, fancy dress things and more. There are also a lot of things on sale for 25 cents, making it cheap and easy to stock up. Definitely worth a visit if you're a crafty type, highly recommended.

I love Michaels. I do feel guilt whenever I go in however, as it reminds me of all the crafty things I started, but never got around to finishing. Is it possible to feel guilt and inspiration at the same time? That is how I feel in Michael's. Anyways, Michael's ain't cheap, but when you need to get your craft on, they'll usually have what you are looking for. It is surprising to find a Michael's on this part of Alberni Street, right by $40,000 watch stores, and super douche, botox people restaurants, but here it is! It is a great store for crafters! Also, don't forget to find an online coupon before you shop that will usually get you 30-50% off of a single item. This helps heaps!
