Looked at Molteni's website and was impressed with the way the furniture looked. Since we are renovating our house, I decided to pop in during my lunch hour and ask to be showed around the shop, tell me about prices, units, types of furniture and so on, and explain how the prices work. Big mistake! The shop assistant told me that this furniture is "very expensive" and didnt seem particularly interested about taking me around. To understand how things work, sizes, prices, etc was rather impossible, as the shop assistant just was giving me the "look" and saying that it is "very expensive". She kept saying that they have "cheaper" finish to the units I wanted to find out about, but otherwise they are "very expensive" and I got an impression that i needed to bring my bank statement with me in order to show that i am worthy of their attention. I felt that I didnt look rich enough for her to spend her time with me. At the end, after failing to get answers to any of my questions, i just said that i better go, since she didnt seem to be interested in my custom at all. To which the shop assistant just said "yeah". I am still in a state of a shock. I am not going to spend a penny in this shop. Shame, as I really liked the furniture. I noticed that other reviewers had good experience with this shop, so maybe my experience was a one-off kind of thing, but it made me feel extremely unpleasant and effectively ruined my day.

Great selection of items. Lovely space. Staff are consistently unfriendly and unhelpful, preferring their own conversations to even simple greetings and offers to help.

Do not use! My dad placed an order with this company. Absolutely pitiful service. We were given an estimated delivery time of 12pm and the driver arrived at 3pm, staying on his phone for 30 minutes. He then asked my mum and me to do the manual labour that we paid £35.00 for! He is now 3 -4 hours late for the collection to. This service has no consideration of people’s time. They are very inefficient. When I called them up for an updated delivery time they gave fake promises to call me back. Unfortunately this was not actioned. They blamed the delays on unforseen events with no actual explanation. Very expensive and the price does not commensurate with the poor level of service. I called the helpline at least 10 times to reach a resolution, however I was met with indifference and a really poor attitude. I would not recommend for people who are working to a rigid schedule and who appreciate efficiency and excellent customer service.

I never gave a bad review! But Habitat on-line well deserves it! If I could I would NOT even give one star! I bought my product (plate sets) on-line. I was told it would take 2-3 days to get my order delivered..after 6 days my order hadn't arrived. Called customer services as I was expecting visitors in some days time and absolutely needed these plates!! I was told the order went to the wrong place but would be with me on time for when I needed it. Plates arrived over a week later (No plates for visitors). The box was ripped (no "fragile" label) and plates were broken. I complained and was offered a £10 voucher to spend in their own store?! as a "goodwill" gesture from habitat?! I asked to return and get a refund after such a poor service. I was home on expected time of collection. No one knocked my door and I received an email saying collection failed because no one was home?! (NO note was left on my doorstep either!) I called habitat saying that they were not at my place! I asked if they could contact the driver and I was told they could not contact the driver?! Drivers have no phone number?! This is the worse service I have ever came across with.. it is very disappointing, especially when you pay the extra money for the quality!
