Great staff! wonderfully helpful and informative. So happy with my new phone and plan. Explained every step of my switch over.

The customer service is amazing. The isles are well-managed. I liked how the baking section is on the right of the store next to the green vegetables and peppers. You know, healthy things, and the dry goods on the left of the store. It’s fun to browse the isles. And an OK place to take my kids when I need to shop for a few things and don’t want to request a babysitter. Definitely a friendly atmosphere. The Cashier we had was a young adult, he opened another till so we didn’t have to wait in line too long. That is what made the difference, that is why I gave this place 5 stars.

We had a baby gender reveal party on Thanksgiving weekend. We brought in a homemade gender reveal box and had the staff at A Buck or Two fill the box with pink or blue balloons based on the sealed ultrasound results we gave them. Neils assisted us and he was super friendly and helpful!! We gave him the envelope and left the store for 10 minutes or so, and he called to tell us when the box was ready for pick up. The balloons worked out great and the helium lasted for a couple days. For anyone looking to do this kind of thing, I would recommend A Buck or Two for sure! Helpful staff and the price is great. Thanks again to Neils for contributing to an extremely memorable moment for our family!

Not very often is a business rewarded with a good review when deserving, it's usually the bad one's that get posted. So I'm sharing my experience here. I have used Uniway in Red Deer 3 times over the past few years and found them to be the most helpful everytime. Once my computer crashed and within a couple hours they were able to retrieve all my information and downloaded onto a refurbished desktop that they suggested i purchase. Not only did i get a fantastic deal on it it was no charge for recapturing of my files. The other day i was having similar problems and i took it in. The salesman's name was Kells and he knew exactly what was wrong. Instead of talking me into another reconditioned unit he suggested that installing window 10 was the fix. He assured me not to worry and he'd have it done in a few hours. I had some errands to do and was surprised when Kells personally called me to say it was done, an hour early! When i arrived he took the time to go over the new program in great detail and said if i needed help when i got home to call for assistance. The cost for the upgrade was very generous. It's nice to shop at a business and get this kind of professional service, especially when you don't get into Red Deer often. Also, not having to leave your computer for a week or two while someone gets time to look at is awesome. I was up and running same day. So for those looking at purchasing a refurbished desktop, laptop and other electronic goodies do not hesitate to stop by Uniway in Red Deer!

Went in to find a small anchor, found two staff members to ask where they were. The female staff member with reddish hair seemed very annoyed that we stopped to ask her a question. We tried showing her a picture of what we needed and she cut us off saying they don’t sell them...? The gentle man with her (East Indian with white hair) was nice and trying to be helpful and told us which isle to go to, and she was clearly annoyed and snapped and pointed to the isle we needed to go to and walked away angerly. Very unacceptable behaviour and turned us off completely. We left right away and went to Home Depot where they were very helpful and friendly.

Picked up 8 cans of Dulux 8690 Ultra deep deck stain which I understand is in limited supply in Western Canada. The store manager (Nancy) located the product and the staff (Duvina & Nicole), "custom color matched" to our existing paint spec and called me when the order was ready for pick-up, they even put the order in my vehicle. Have been in several times and purchased equipment. Guy there is very friendly and helpful. I bought an Olympic barbell there but eventually noticed it was bent, because the weights kept spinning to level out. At this point I had used it a couple months and figure my old plates were off weight, which they were also. But they let me return it so I used it as a credit towards a better quality one.
