Old Forge Hardware
104 Fulton St, Old Forge, New York, 13420, United States
A landmark and fixture of Old Forge that has just about everything. I've been stopping by for some sixty + years for hardware, camping gear, household items, books. They have stocked furniture for several years as well. The Adirondacks and Old Forge wouldn't be the same without it. I hope it remains long after I've departed this life.

Robin and Andy couldn't be any more helpful or knowledgeable...I intend to look for excuses to shop there to raise the odds that the store is around for many more years to come...

Garden Hardware & Supply

The thing I hate the most about going to a hardware store is having to go back to the same store for the same issue. The owner (I'm assuming) was great. However, the locksmith/ the keys cutter, Roger, I believe he needs to pay more attention to what he's doing without any attitude

No issues. Good selection of good products. Much more convenient than driving to a box store if you live in a neighborhood near downtown.
Clement Hardware

My favorite "get in and get out" place even when my son is not working there. Plenty of of good help.
Old Takoma Ace Hardware
7001 Carroll Ave, Takoma Park, Maryland, 20912, United States

Old School Hardware
3219 Mt Pleasant St NW, Washington, District of Columbia, 20010, United States
I live several blocks away and have Consisutely been able to rely on Mount Plesant Hardware for everything from replacing switches to tools in prep. for snow. If u are looking for patio furniture, 30 types of lawn mowers, etc. ...I urge you consider that this is a 'NEIGHBORHOOD' hardware store. Not Ace, not Costco, just to be clear.
Staff has always been incredibly helpful, if u ask - I appreciate that as I hate being hassled and followed by overly zealous sales folks at conventional chain stores. They know their business here, and that's all that matters!
Logan Hardware
1734 14th St NW, Washington, District of Columbia, 20009, United States
Great selection and friendly staff. Amazon is all well and good, but when it comes to doing things with tools, I want to pick a product up and look at it before I buy it and once I'm there, I'll happily pay an extra 10% for knowledgeable staff.
