Hearing Aid

I needed a dome for my hearing aid, they refused to supply with one because it was 'against the law .. as I did not by my hearing aid there'. Empty musty shop with nobody there.

I am hard of hearing, pardon! I have been to 3 other places to help in my impediment. And this exceeds by far. The audiologist is very thorough & knows just what to do. The receptionist is excellent & does her very best to help.

I am a relatively successful musician who has battered his ears for nearly 40 years and now has to face the consequences. I ended up with surprisingly not that much hearing loss but the loss has been accompanied by a whole load of other tinnitus and possibly hyperacausia related problems . My first call was a company well-known amongst musicians. The first aids they programmed for me worked very well for my musical needs, but I had to pay nearly 5K upfront just to trial them. After I'd paid the money I noticed that my appointments became very rushed , though their expertise with music was unquestionable. I then discovered Audiological Science who were offering the same Oticon OPN-1's at nearly 2k less! At my first appointment there with Candice she programmed a pair of OPN-1's very differently and I found that the world started sounding very pleasant and speech was noticeably clearer, though music sounded very toppy. The other OPN-1's were great for music but brutal on the ears in everyday life. I asked at the first company if it was possible to combine the two and they told me at another rushed session that it was not. Candice on the other hand patiently worked out two very different programmes in conjunction with Oticon. I was about to give up on trialling both sets of aids due to a family tragedy but to my astonishment Candice-The Audio Angel- sorted it all out within a week and at nearly half the cost.I now have a programme for speech that takes into account my various conditions and a music programme which has been nothing short of revelatory. My advice to anyone going down this path is to research the technical structure of hearing aids (they're actually not that complicated on the programming front) and trial as many as you can bear from different companies with the aim to find the right settings for you. I'm pretty certain though your last port of call will be Audiological Science , I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Both my ears were completely blocked and my hearing was very diminished. Deepak managed to completely unblock them and my hearing is now completely back to normal. Brilliant customer service. He explained everything he was about to do before he did it. Thank you very much indeed Deepak.

Cannot speak highly enough of zone1hearing. Matthew is extremely helpful and informative, and from our initial telephone conversation his knowledge and passion was evident. I was able to arrange an appointment on the same day I needed one and am extremely satisfied with the treatment I received.

The hearing test was thorough and confirmed what I probably already knew. It did however also confirm that my ears were basically healthy. The demonstration of how the application of hearing aids could help me led me to placing an order. The audiologist came to my home yesterday to fit the new hearing aids and so far I am extremely pleased with them. I have 30 days to decide whether to keep them or not.

I'm a musician and have been having all sorts of issues with my ears. I had several tests done with the team at Drummond Hearing and afterwards they expertly discussed all of the various options for treatment with me. I ended up with some custom moulded musician earplugs that Scott arranged for me just in time for a concert out of the country. The results were superb and I suffered none of the residual effects I'd had at previous shows. Thanks again to Scott and his team.
