Hockey

Lots of politics, tryouts are unfair, coaches bench, yell, and make players feel bad all the time.

the skates never fit for some reason, always too tight or loose

The Boddam hockey JPB Pro Series Chest & Arm Protector is made in Canada by a group of people that value their craftsmanship as much as their customer. Having used their leg pads for 12 years of playing as an ice hockey goalie, I reached back out to them for a chest and arm protector. Jason Boddam worked directly with me to identify my playing style, the correct c/a protector for me, and to ensure I took accurate measurements for a proper fit. This equipment has a superior construction to my previous Brand Names, with far better range of motion and protections. The value to cost ratio is skewed way in the customer's favor! Grab all of the gear you can from these guys, you'll end up thanking them too.

I've been to three games this year, all with my three-year old son. He absolutely loves the experience. One game he was interviewed by Deana, the great host, and Boomer was sitting behind him. He was thrilled and talked about it for days! He actually started the cheer, go Beast go, and the crowd went wild! The level of hockey is very high and very entertaining. On opening night we watched from a private suite and the whole group of my hockey teammates had a blast. it's great that you've got your own private seats as well as the room. The staff is very kind and is very attentive, especially to a kid who is hockey crazy. My only complaint would be that the announcing and music volume is too loud, my little guy can't take it sometimes. We hope to catch some of the playoff action coming up. Good luck Beast, and congrats to all for a super debut season!

I've been playing in this league for 3 years and nothing but great things to say about it. Can accommodate all levels of Hockey and easy going people. Ron is very approachable and always willing to work with people. Give it a try if you enjoy the physical activity and want to get into some organized sports. You even get a Jersey for the team you play for. Highly recommended.

The HockeyShot Center of Excellence is world class showroom and content marketing studio in the heart of the GTA. No detail has been overlooked, from the beautiful red diamond quartz countertops to the immaculate polished cement floors that frame the coolest synthetic ice rink I've ever seen with real NHL rink boards and glass! I love lacing up my skates, working on my edge control and testing out all the HockeyShot training aids, my favorites are the Extreme Defender and the speed deke trainer - the quality of product is second to none and I even get a free skate sharpening before I leave. This facility is a must see; words and photos do not do it justice.

Our experience with Hespeler Hockey has not been a good one the organization is becoming more concerned w personal friendships and self serving of the executive members and certain individuals over that of the kids. Decisions are made for the well being of a chosen few and not that of the team. Politics in minor hockey is common in many organizations unfortunately it is thriving in Hespeler as well. If kids are looking for fun and FairPlay in hockey I would suggest to keep looking.
