This company is horrendous. They are completely disorganized and have extensive delays. Their PM, Hugo, doesn’t know what he’s doing and has a long history or not paying his invoices. If you are a contractor looking to do work with these guys....don’t. You won’t get paid and they will have every excuse and delay tactics.

I've been dealing with HBD Homes on a trades level, their knowledge in the construction industry is awesome. I see them always looking out for better ways to help their clients from beginning to end. They strive to make sure the quality starts from the foundation up. I'm happy to work with them as one of their trades.

We had our laneway home built on June 2016 and completed Mar 2017. We've been in here with my wife and son for over a year now and we're still loving this home of ours! Lanefab were fantastic and responsive to our needs from the beginning. We ensured our neighbours would be ok with the active construction and they were perfectly fine with it. Lanefab ensured they cleaned up around our street and area. The process was smooth and enjoyable and the staff were nothing but awesome.

Since we completed our laneway house with Smallworks, we remain regular visitors at almost every Smallworks Open House. We love their elegant and functional small building design, and never tired of seeing the latest building they completed! We recommend them to everyone!!!
