At the end of August 2019, I was referred to Sicotte Guilbault to meet with a member of their litigation team namely Dave Morin-Pelletier. I immediately felt comfortable, understood and more confident with the process knowing that I had someone reasonable and knowledgeable who would be working on my behalf to defend my interest. Dave made a stressful situation more tolerable and always kept me in the know of everything happening and what was next. I felt that he had my best interest in mind and always recommanded a smart and best approach to what was, for me, a dificult and long process. He was always so patient in explaining all the steps I had to go through.. The litigation case has now been resolved with the result I was hoping for. It was a pleasure working with Dave and his assistant Louise Vinette. They were very professionnal, always available ,happy to help and yet very friendly throughout the entire process. We met Ted soon after arriving in Cornwall in 1981. Ted has represented us in all of our legal matters over the years. Every time we needed his services he was quick, thorough and very effective. I don’t begrudge anyone taking retirement, but Linda and I have mixed feeling about his finally deciding to pull the trigger. On the other hand though, maybe he’ll have more free time to have a game of golf sometime. Ted, if you see this, thanks for everything. I’ll call.

I have referred several matters to McClelland & Cook, both for my clients and for loved ones. While litigation of any sort is never an entirely pleasant (or inexpensive) experience, I have been happy with the services the people I have referred to this firm have received. Called for a consultation and was told there is conflict as soon as I made reference to a free 30min consultation advertised on their website; I tried to explain I have never used any lawyer services before but the lady on the phone insisted someone must have contacted them on my behalf. This is scary if anyone did but I know the receptionist was lying! Won't wanna work with a group of dishonest people anyways.. I know of others who complained of this firm; thank God! Not gonna be wasting hard earned $$ on a dishonest firm!
