"Ajay's Karate Academy is the premiere Martial Arts school in all of Elk Grove & recently voted Best of Elk Grove for 2016. Owned and Operated by 8th Degree Dan Black belt GrandMaster Michael Ajay and Mrs. Lydia Ajay, students of all ages get the true traditional values and discipline of what Taekwondo is all about. My children have been with him since 2007 and I am proud to say, as they are, that they have excelled in the art of taekwondo because of Michael Ajay's teachings. My sons are both 2nd & 3rd degree Dan blackbelts. Master Ajay not only instill the proper methods to which every move is applied with great emphasis on proper form and technique, but he instills much needed confidence and drive. Because of his teachings and my involvement with encouraging my kids and helping them train at home, my kids, along with the vast majority of their peers, have become great tournament competitors, often placing 1st, 2nd, or 3rd places during these competitions. They also do very well in their academics and have learned to stay out of trouble while having the confidence that they can defend themselves if they ever find themselves in a situation where they would need to. Ajay's karate is truly the finest school to be in and I recommend to any parent looking to place their child in karate to highly consider Ajay's Karate as their 1st option if they live in the South Sacramento/Elk Grove area. It is definetly worth it!

Great atmosphere

I joined American Hapkido because i missed playing team sports and found that my experience with this studio was far more rewarding than i could have imagined. It provides a great work out. and a skill that stresses thinking though a problem rather letting impulses push you through a problem. I could not be more pleased with my experience there. James

I took my son and nephew to the intro class today and they loved it! I love that the classes are kept small. They really take their time to help the kids learn. I can't wait for my son to start in a week. I couldn't get him to do karate or anything else but he jumped right in and couldn't stop talking about it all day! He's 5 years old and his cousin is 6. They had such a great experience. I don't think they're over priced.

Such an awesome place. They are true Masters who have a great skills and attitudes. If you are looking for a martial arts studio, and want your kids to grow as polite, matured individuals, I believe this is the best place for you.

The Best BJJ studio in Stanislaus County!! (Get off the couch & GO!) PROFESSIONAL staff, EXPERT trainers, CLEAN studio, spacious. If you've been hesitant to start BJJ like I was this is the place to begin. If you're already experienced, this is the place to develop technique. While the coaches are strong competitors they never make you feel inadequate. Instead, they invest in you and communicate lessons effectively, even going so far as to providing one-on-one guidance. Come get challenged to excel while you meet guys/gals from all ages and walks of life. Grateful to have started BJJ here; especially thanks to Tim!

Lacombe Karate in Westlake Village, CA has taught my two boy confidence and self control. My oldest takes kick boxing and mma classes, and my young takes aikido classes and simply loves it. I recommend this karate studio for a nice environment and great lessons.
