I've been training at Darcio Lira for five years and it is an amazing experience filled with dedication and determination.

When I first took my child to class we loved all the families that were there! It was a great supportive family enviroment. All the instructors are nationally ranked black belts and seem to be very knowledgable in teaching children and with martial arts. I had gotten recommendations from friends to go try this studio and I can see why. IT is the best martial art studio in the area. My kids love it. My husband loves that my children are nationally ranked as welll and that they do lots of tournaments. The fees are very reasonable and there are no contracts . This is the BEST martial art studio for your kids !!!

My kids just attended an awesome birthday party at Taylor's Martial Arts & had the best time. The Instructors kept then engaged, very active & loving every minute. Pizza was hot & the staff was very attentive & helpful to the group. In addition, the facility was very clean, including the restroom. A great time was had by all and I would gladly take them back.

They say they have 6:30 a.m. classes. Since this is the only schedule that works for me, I wake up at 5:30 a.m. to make it, and I crossed the city all the way from Santa Barbara to Goleta. For what? So when I get there the gym is closed and there is even an individual sleeping in the middle of the mat. And instead of this guy come to me and give me any explanations of why the gym was closed or give me any useful information, he just told me to leave. Unprofessional, never seen such disrespectful attitude coming from something related to the amazing BJJ art.

I've recently joined this school in Livermore. It's spacious and well-equipped. The gym managers are very friendly. The class offers fitness and coordination training as well as principle-based self defense training.

Olympic style taekwondo. Very family oriented, outstanding focus on character development, and opportunity for high level competition/training for those interested.

Teri is a wonderful person to work with. I have had the pleasure of working with her in several capacities from her giving aself-defense demonstration in my office to serving on the local NAWBO board with her. She is kind, caring, and a complete expert in her field. I highly recommend her and her services!

A great organization always starts with great people, and you'll find many of them at Concord Kung Fu. The staff is professional, friendly and expertly trained. They'll motivate you and inspire you, as well as teach you the discipline needed to succeed in all parts of life.

I'm about a year away from getting black belt and the journey has not been easy, but at this academy, they make it fun while pushing me. I push myself hard in everything I do, and the more I push myself, the harder the instructors push me to do better in my forms and self-defense moves.

Great new gym in Goleta! The facility is awesome - very clean bathrooms/showers, large mat space, lots of punching bags, and knowledgeable and friendly instructors. All levels are welcome - beginners learn basic fundamental skills, while intermediate/advanced are challenged with new techniques. A killer workout and a great way to lose weight while meeting amazing new friends. I love Paragon!

I came to learn Aikido in 1974 but left with a way of life. I learned to be a peaceful through Aikido, I learned to endure through Judo and I learned balance and poise through Ballroom Dancing . Thank You Sensei

I trained here for more than two years and can’t say enough good things about them. Great atmosphere, instructors are very capable at working with students of diffent levels of abilities, degrees of athleticism. Krav Maga is a very effective form of self defense training, they take all the effective tactics from all the other martial arts and apply them to real world scenarios. Pedro does of a fantastic job challenging students -I was constantly surprised at what the students (including myself) were able to learn and put into practice. Sparring and stand-up fighting classes were especially informative and challenging.

Incredible teachers.. Friendly staff, atmosphere and kids.. Reasonable fee, six days a week class.. All in one package deal..
