The Way of Martial Arts (Taekwondo)
121 E Mason St, Santa Barbara, California, 93101, United States
What an amazing place to train. After taking a break from Taekwondo for several years, I couldn't have been more fortunate to come back and train here. Not only is the space really great to train, but so is the teacher! Amitabh helps you excel and surpass your goals with his truly excellent nature and teachings. I can't wait to go back and visit!!!

I took one of the intro classes while I was doing an internship at the dojo. It was quite a workout, so I recommend trying Aikido even if you haven't done so before.
Wu Shu Studio
23 Gutierrez St #a, Santa Barbara, California, 93101, United States
I've been studying Kenpo at the Wu Shu Studio for about three and half years now, which isn't long when I remember that the studio has been open for as long as I've been alive. Sifu Chris has been teaching for 33 years and I couldn't ask for a better experience.
If you want to learn to kickbox or defend yourself or how to use a weapon, the Wu Shu Studio does it all. I recommend it to anyone looking for a quality martial arts studio.

I have been training at Gracie Barra Santa Barbara for the past year. I cannot say enough good things about this place and the people who run it. They have a great schedule with multiple classes that I can choose from throughout the day. Both Professor Rodrigo and Coach Ighor have been amazing to learn from, and are great just to be around. I have found the other students to be very considerate and helpful. I am in awe of this place and how much fun I have had.

My son started here not too long ago and has learned so much. He's also a football player in high school and I do believe the training has helped him with his moves. The instructors are really great people, too. A+++

Sifu is an extraordinarily capable and patient teacher. He conducts both group and private classes with care and dignity. One becomes not only a student, but a person with greater focus, better health and a desire for self-improvement. I’ve taught at the university level for decades and am delighted to learn both tai chi forms and how to anchor a busy life. Thank you, sifu.
