I started training Jiu Jitsu here for the first time two months ago. The environment is friendly and the professors are great at helping new students learn in a safe way without getting hurt. If you have ever thought about training, you should definitely start at Crosley Gracie.

This place has really gone down hill. It used to crank out some of the baddest black belts ever. Now it's old people and sissys . I came back after moving out of state to train . I gave it 6 months and stopped. They didnt spar once , the owner talks for 20 mins of your 30 min private. The place is filthy . Every time I step on to the mat i get athletes foot .
I tried to confront the owner about it and he is very defensive and blames the students for not showing up , ect....
I hope it turns around and gets with the times . It needs restructuring . Offer some mma for the folks that actually want to fight .

I've just started martial arts again after a 20 year hiatus. I've only attended 6 classes, so I can't really provide a detailed review about how these classes differ from other gyms. My review is primarily for those who are new to martial arts and are just looking for reviews on the internet about a good place to get your foot in the door.
My first 3 weeks here have been exciting and very demanding - and I mean that in the best possible way! The curriculum is equal parts discipline as it is technique and the atmosphere is incredibly positive! Each week I learn so much from the professor and all other students, and to test and push my body past it's comfortability, has become something, I wish I wouldn't have waited this long. I wasn't in the greatest shape coming in. I could have easily told myself that I should cut 30+ Lbs before coming in, but I'm glad I didn't wait. For those that are worried about getting hurt, or feeling insecure, there is plenty of time spent on proper technique to avoid injury, and the whole class is the embodiment of humility, so you are in good company!
Each class begins with warmups, and stretching and will usually involve learning one or more techniques with plenty of humor. It's always a fun time with plenty of satisfaction at the end. I've brought in a few friends, and I've never seen anyone's attitude in life become so focused and positive so quickly as with this!
To top everything off, the professor's focus with me has been on my commitment to studying and my attendance, not just getting another person in the door. On my first day, I described my prior injuries, and medical conditions that have a pretty dramatic affect on my workouts and he not only addressed them but he goes the extra step to make accommodations for them, when needed, but continuously pushes me, so that my body can become a better, more efficient machine, and it is because of this I feel valued, and feel comfortable making a long term commitment with this gym. If you have any doubts, just come in and try it!

Mr. Baker is hands down the best tutor anyone could ask for! Sadly, our daughter doesn’t get to see him anymore because we moved out of state but we all still value the lessons he shared.

This place is more than TKD... is about teaching kids life lessons, discipline, commitment, respect and of course TKD. They run a very strict program, class availability is fantastic. My daughter, 5yr old, love it since day#1. Mr./Mrs Hamlet are just excellent.

Have known the owner since before he started on his own. He has really invested in my kids to the point of training the oldest two to helping as instructors and working on number three. Finally, started Now we parents are doing Krav Maga and Kickboxing and loving it.
