Martial Arts

Outstanding instructors that manage to tailor things to the individual student needs but always provide a challenging class. After sporadic years of running and weights, I joined with my daughter to have fun with her and try something new. The balance of flexibility, core work out, aerobic conditioning, strength training and mental exercise keeps me coming back for more.

BE Martial Arts is an excellent place for kids to learn Martial Arts. We relocated from Atlanta, GA to Mequon, WI in Late 2017. We were looking to start our daughter back in the Karate program. She was learning Karate in Atlanta. In 3 months in BE Martial arts, she has improved much more than what she learnt in a year period in Atlanta. Mr. Bowman is an excellent coach and his style of coaching connects with kids very easily. I would recommend this facility to anyone interested in martial arts.

I highly recommend Fu Saan Kung Fu with Chuck. He is very knowledgeable of the fighting style and works diligently to help each child thrive in Kung Fu. There is an array of activities that the youth can get involve in from "Lion Dances, Parades, to Kung Fu tournaments. Just recently, my 10 year old son took 2nd place at the Kalahari Resort; amongst hundreds of other participating Kung Fu places throughout the nation. Chuck was well respected, and was praised by the judges for having his students versed in stances, techniques, and weapons. One other thing that I like about Chuck is that he teaches his students practical life skills in communication, self control, anger management, and etc. His prices are reasonable, and he'll work with you if you ask.

My 9-year-old daughter tried out NGN this summer. It's been a very positive experience for us and it was an easy decision to join after her second week of lessons. She looks forward to class every week and self-motivates herself to practice at home. Coach Perry and Coach Talon are leaders and teachers that the kids obviously respect. As a parent, it's been a great experience watching my daughter doing push-ups at home or practicing what she's learning in class because she wants to do well and because she really enjoys it. The focus on a different positive word each month is also great: last month the kids discussed Resilience at every lesson; this month they are discussing Compassion. I highly recommend NGN to other parents.

I love Surge Martial Arts. This is the best studio ever. Excellent instructors, family orientated, teaching self discipline, positive attitude and self control, down to earth and all around great people to work with.

Both my sons do Tae Kwon Do here. Excellent instructors. Low pressure, fun place to learn martial arts for the kids, yet high skills for adults who want to take it to that level. Wish I had the time to go myself. This is not your typical franchise "karate kid" martial arts studio. Here it is more about learning the art.

I went there for years and was a top student. Everything about the school was awesome, except for the fact that the proprietor belched GOP propaganda at his students almost continually (maybe he doesn't anymore, I don't know). As the years pass, I realize more and more how tragically ironic that was. Dear Mike, yielding isn't just a physical thing. Try at your own risk, I wish them and you the best. Cheers! 道教, 道家思想

Best experience of our kids lives! Very grateful to be members at Karate America Menomonee Falls! From the beginning it has been such a great journey and we have learned so much.

Our family has been going to Chay's for a few years now. Master Chay is so great with kids of all ages (and encouraging to adults that are a little unsure of starting something new!) Great facilities and staff - would recommend to ANYONE!!!
