Great gym and great people.

Two of our boys are enrolled in the wee warriors karate program and LOVE it. They are gaining more and more confidence as they work on their skills. Renshi Todd is great and always available/quick to respond to questions or messages.

The club is nice & large and is open concept with large change rooms with showers. The instuctors are very friendly and knowledgeable. It is a safe environment for my kids to train in. I highly recommend this club if your looking for an all in one club to train in.

There are way too many personal trainers nowadays projecting successful programs to get fit, lose weight, etc. Most of them, unfortunately, are not credible and are compellingly either inexperienced OR do not care about their clients. Enter Pickering's INCREDIBLE Gamma mixed martial arts and their handful of personal trainers. I signed-up for a fitness program to strengthen my low-back and shoulders as I work long shifts in the emergency ward. I worked with Christine under a customized strengthening fitness plan 2 to 3 sessions a week. A few months later, my husband decided to make a change in his health, too. We have a very good outcome. Everybody at the hospital acknowledged my physical change. I stopped drinking 11 cups of coffee to keep me energized. Exercise lowered my level of fatigue and really kept my emotions in check. It's one of the best decisions I've ever made.

This gym has had a huge positive impact on my life. Everyone from Kru down to first-timers have a level of respect and camaraderie that makes for a great atmosphere and an an unparalleled workout

They are committed to improving and develop your child from a fitness perspective and also from a competitive aspect. They drill to win and the coaches are very knowledgeable. Can't say enough about the valuable self defense methods. You will not find a better school in the GTA. Anyone who has had the privilege of training under Shihan Lee will not easily be beaten in competition OR in real-life. Get street proofed here! Worth every penny.

Terrible As long as you're buying, he's your best friend. I was a loyal Benza Sports customer for years and always got a smile and a handshake — while I was spending. The day I needed a favor, the smile was gone. All I asked was to take back his own gear, new and unused in its original packaging, which he agreed to. He turned his back on me and lied to my face. When money is on the table, he doesn't see people. Don't learn it the way I did.

I train RCI (Raw Combat International) at the Ontario Self Defense Centre. This is exactly what I am looking for in self protection / CQC - both practical and effective. The training facility is amazing, unlike any other I've trained at, and Peter is an outstanding instructor who takes the time to make sure his students train to the best of their ability. Everyone works to improve their our abilities and skills in addition to supporting the growth of their fellow students. It's a great environment to learn and train hard, without dealing with egos.

I'm not going to say my name (and yes this is a fake name)but I do have a lot to say about this place. First of all this place has taught me nothing about karate. Yes, this place maybe cheaper than most other places but when I spend my money on something it better be worth it.Also the boss or head of this place was too head strong. I still remember in the kids class being 12-13,since I was one of the oldest in the class he tried to do a demonstration on me without asking,me not being courageous to stand up to him obliged and he tripped me and ended up being bruised.Extra much so called sensei?Overall this place was probably a scam.He never upgraded me to yellow belt even when the other black belts told me I should be ready and always told me they never understood why I was still at white belt.I never asked him why,but when ever he was frustrated on how I couldn't grasp things he would always tell me that I never tried hard enough and always slack off.WHAT??Where did you get this from?I remember being so excited for karate at the beginning of this experience to hating it at the end.He also said some stupid things like I had no confidence.I have never been here for almost 2 years and I've never been happier.I wrote this review when my cousins said they would go to this place and hope no one will get into this filthy mess of a school.I recommend finding other places to go to than this.See I'm not rich so I can't afford to give my money for nothing. **p.s. ironically I went to another place saying I didn't know anything and after like 2 months I was already yellow belt** Anyways good luck in the scamming industry!!!I'm out!!! Action and reaction teaches great self defence and has a great competition team

A safe and non judgemental environment to learn in. Sensei Moore is a talented teacher whom reflects his thirst for knowledge onto the students.

All of the instructors are caring and help the student

NKS Thornhill is simply THE place to go to get fit and have a blast with amazing people doing so! I signed up about a year ago and at this point I can't even imagine my life without karate. Looking forward to the next year and hopefully many more to come. 💞
