Martial Arts

I can't say enough about Raanan. His classes are very challenging, yet welcoming. He encourages you to go beyond what you think your limit is. In addition to challenging you physically, Raanan's classes challenge you mentally. I highly recommend Zarko Academy. You've tried the rest, now try the best!

My brother and I train together at Sambo Combat in Brooklyn. We came over from another school because the reputation of the trainers in Sambo and Judo was so good and we wanted to be trained by the best. Since joining Sambo Combat we have improved at a much faster rate than where we were. We are hoping to compete soon.

The academy has moved to 609 avenue X since February of 2013 - goggle has not updated this page -

You will have the most exciting and provocative time of your life coming to this exclusive wing chun center

Eren loves Master Bogdan Calin and all staff in this place and I’m glad he likes to come here. Thank you for every person who is working here. All of them is so kind and special.

My kids enjoyed every practice. Friendly and knowledgeable instructors. Great atmosphere. Highly recommend.

First of all- AMAZING TEACHER with great skills ( he got his black belt at age 11 y.o. ). He is very patient, never raises his voice at kids and makes them feel comfortable even if they make mistakes, always pays attention to their needs. Master Juraj professionally shares all his knowledge and skills, makes children work on themselves, overcome difficulties and plenty more !!! We are very happy to observe our kid's swift progress and especially how they eagerly anticipate every class session!!! If you are looking for a place where your child will learn how to defend themselves, develop physical strength, improve coordination and much more - you will not find a better place than this one !!! About the place- it is big and very clean, fresh air, comfortable temperature, has a seating area for parents to wait and watch their kids. All of the equipment is new. Flexible schedule, open 6 days a week, you can choose days that are more convenient for you. Great location- B3 bus stops right in front, B49 bus stops around the corner, B and Q train stop 5-6 min walk.

Best place!!!!!!

Awesome instructors who really care about teaching and explaining proper techniques. These guys teach real kung fu that is practical, not some fancy-looking quadruple round house kick that will just put you out in front of oncoming traffic. Unlike some places who are just out to make a quick buck while not teaching anything of substance, these instructors are active in the local community and take pride in their kung fu lineage. They know the importance of correctly imparting their knowledge to their students to ensure it won’t be lost or terribly distorted. The students are friendly and dedicated people who are always pushing each other to do better. The new location is clean and accessible. Bottom Line: If you want to learn legit kung fu in a clean, safe environment while being a part of a dedicated team, this is where it’s at.

Best energy in the brand. Instructors are dedicated in giving the best child friend friendly environment. Good quality training!

Very expensive - always asking for more money - alot of hidden expensives.

No-frills gym with hardcore conditioning, striking, and grappling training. Highly recommend Fridays 7-9pm.

Honesty, I've been coming here for 4 years or so and it's been one of the most influential and life changing experiences I've had. It's an amazing experience and really helps shy people like me break out of our shell. The dojo basically is a second home to me!

Awesome Masters. They teach the traditional Korean Taekwondo. More than 90% of Korean kids learn Taekwondo in Korea. That is why they are smart. Surely Taekwondo stimulates your brain.

It was awesome for my grand kids They loved it
