You get what you pay for.
It's not just kicking and punching. They teach a whole lot more. My son has more confidence, is better behaved at home and looks forward to going every time. The instructors are excellent !

I have trained at 6 schools over the last 20-30 years. Some are too hostile and military. Some are too soft and not demanding enough and just want to collect your fees. This school has a good balance. They are great with kids and good with us older folks too. If you go and watch classes or start attending them, you get the feeling that all of the instructors are not only good at teaching karate, they are good people too. Have been very happy at Tearney's!

My kids train with coach Tony and coach Koa. This is the best jiu jitsu academy in north east Ohio. The coaches are very skilled and my boys love the training they receive. Classes are free to try out and a must dor anybody looking into martial arts.

Ken is a great professor and owner of the gym. His teaching allows one to embrace what it means to be able to defend yourself.
