Movers

Yellowhead moved us from Prince Rupert to Vancouver Island. Lloyd said we did not need insurance and that he would replace anything which was damaged. We had serious water damage which Lloyd said was caused after a rock punctured the roof of the truck. Lloyd refused to replace any of the damaged furniture and referred us to fine print in the agreement and his lawyer. Our furniture was moved into a storage locker and heavy items where stacked on top of delicate items causing further damage. We would not use Yellowhead again not would we recommend them to anyone.

Personally, my favorite Chinese restaurant. I've tried every single one in town and new Asian been the best so far. They also have deliver.

Not a good experience overall. The package was due in on Friday. Was told the truck was delayed out of Vancouver. Not a problem I said as my package was out of Edmonton. Was then explained that the truck out of Edmonton was delayed as well. Would be in Friday night. I needed the package for the weekend and it sat, locked up and unpacked, all weekend long. Very frustrating experience. Would give one star but the folks in the warehouse were happy and helpful when I finally received my package Monday afternoon.

If you absolutely have to use this company - I mean really have to - get everything in writing, no phone calls, no handshakes, get a scale weight as soon as you’re loaded, pack very carefully and expect breakage.

So Impressed!!! Had booked with another company who was a NO show and couldn't do the booked work for several days. A-1 was excellent and were able to send someone right away. They were awesome!!

They are all my food and clogged my toilet. Smelt like alcohol too.

Based on my experience I found that United Cabs Inuvik NT,is an outstanding cab company. They have a fleet of only new SUV vehicles, which is very safe up there in the north. Also, their drivers are very friendly, help you with your luggages,give you a brief town knowledge about local events,and other valuable informations.

We hired them to move a 419-pound, 8-foot long printer that wouldn't even fit on our truck's lift gate. They were skilled and professional, and got us to our appointment right on schedule. Props to Larry and his team for making us look good to our customer. We are looking forward to the opportunity to work with them again.

My contract to move to Anchorage was with the Mayflower Company and it covered the entire shipping to my home. I did not know that Mayflower uses subcontractors. When I moved to Anchorage, I was told to contact World Wide Movers. My belongings probably arrived in Anchorage before I arrived. Worldwide Movers refused to deliver my items after my repeated requests by telephone. World Wide Movers then told me that I would have to pay extra money to get my things delivered from their warehouse to my apartment. In the meantime, they simply held onto my belongings. I consider that theft and a break of contract. I felt my only option was to hire a lawyer, but I made one last phone call to the company--this at least a month after my move. As I stood in my office making the phone call, I saw through my office window that I was speaking to a World Wide Movers representative on his cellphone, who saw me looking at him. World Wide Movers had been contracted by my new employer to move our organization (which was a big job for them). When that person realized that I worked for one of their big jobs, he then said "We'll get you moved at 4:00 pm today." At 4:00 o'clock a crew was out at my apartment delivering my items. I wonder if I would have had to hire a lawyer had there not been that coincidence. I still think the company was jerking me.
