Optometrist

Dr. Dodds has my highest respect and trust, been with her since she had her own independent practice on 8th Ave and will continue to support her. However, the City Focus Store has disappointed me now twice by delivering sub par lens products but promoting and charging for top of the line. What I received from their lab was not what was ordered and promoted. First time it was so obvious, that the CSR sent them back for exchange. This year, they could/would not verify the delivered product in the store and acknowledged that they are at the mercy of their lab. Having lost faith, I ordered the identical item somewhere else and proofed to them the difference. Which was very obvious and a refund was issued. The whole hassle and the thought that a less discriminating customer could believe or be convinced that he got what he paid for is of concern and saddening. The staff is very helpful and friendly. That just does not make up for the lesser quality item, poor workmanship or shortcuts their lab takes. I can't believe the difference between the 2 orders and how well the other ones work in comparison. That's why I write this review. It's night and day.

Dr Penny and her staff have been very kind, caring and friendly. Since my troublesome eye surgeries, they have given of their time and energy to make me well. I have needed many appointments and they have always fit me in and made me feel important to them. Pretty much as soon as I arrive they take me right in for eye testing first and then to see Dr. Penny. I have never experienced a long wait time. They have treated me like family! If you are needing an eye specialist, I would highly recommend Dr Penny and her dedicated staff. You will never find more amazing, nurturing and caring people than you will find at Mayfair Eye Care. Thank you for your wonderful care of me over the past several years! (even at your previous locations). I appreciate you immensely!

Excellent experience at OQ On 17Ave SW. Terrific service from both Candace and Davin. Gentle Hannah (a lovely Golden Retriever) greeted us on our initial visit. Optometrist Dr. Anita Tsu (?sp) was thorough and professional. Check out the fair pricing on the Ollie Quinn website. I have single vision (low index) and the price for frames and lenses w/ scratch protection and no-glare was $155 - ❤️ my matte Benjamin frames (London Weather). This is the place for you if you want a good selection of up to date frames, enjoy no-pressure assistance in a nice location and do not care to pay for designer branding or weird shiny ‘bling’. We were told to expect up to 2 weeks for our glasses and were delighted when they were ready 2 days later.

I have been seeing Dr Bauder for, well it must be decades now. He is one of the most personable Doctors I have met. His staff is equally exemplary, always happy and smiling. always helpful while being accommodating. I like the full range of top line eye test and measuring equipment he has, the selection of glasses that comes with after care has always meet my needs. He is our family eye doctor, one of the best by my experience.

Dr. Anh Bui was excellent and detailed in my eye examination, she is very knowledgeable and patient with me and my questions. My daughters also go see her and they are excellent with young children. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend any of my friends with children to come see them. All of the staff are extra helpful.

Dr. Dianna is great. She's kind, patient and takes her time to explain things. Dr. Dianna is my entire family's optometrist. Lately, I've had problems with my eyes building a tolerance to contacts and allergies, and have had to see Dr. Dianna quite a few times. She would take her time and try to fit me in, and help me with my issue. She's even called me at home to see how I was doing. I highly recommend Dr. Dianna to whomever is looking for a fantastic optometrist!

I have been dealing with Martin Hu here for years and have always had a great experience. I recently had the pleasure of meeting and having my eyes examined by Dr Susan Wong. She is extremely professional and both Susan, Martin and the whole crew at Plus Ma genuinely care about your needs, eye health and overall happiness with the end result. If you value a personal connection, great brand name frames and an overall easy experience when it comes to your eye care, I highly recommend Plus Ma Eyewear.

My eye examination at COSTCO Sarcee Trail was my only bad experience so far and this was due to Dr. N.H Quan. She did not listen to what I felt, but insisted she knew better what was my correct strength/power for my bi-focals. I kept them for a week, and went back to COSTCO for a re-examination, got a different optometrist who was excellent. So nothing bad about COSTCO but Dr. N.H.Quan is young and inexperienced.

I odered my glasses over 20 days ago. I have called for updates and was told because of Cchristmas it would be longer (thats totally fine I get that) but I was told 10 days max and have still not received the glasses I paid in full for 20 days ago!! Not only that I have called 4 diffrent times for updates. The 2nd time I was told my glasses were Just cut and would be here latest Thursday. To my surprise I didn't receive a call that day. So I called the Friday to be told the machine they use to cut was down and my glasses had not been started thus was 18 days after I ordered and paid. I asked for my money back or a part of it and was told "it wasnt their problem it was the factory,there is nothing they can do". I was then told Monday thwu would have them, that is today and guess what no glasses. And now they dont evem know where they are. I will never shop here again, they are extremly disorgnized and rude. Once they have your money they could care less what happens.

Calgary Low Vision Clinic is good professional and supportive service, the staff are very kind and helpful.

Whenever go to this place, I always satisfied with the variety of products and excellent services. The optician is very knowledgeable, professional, and nice as well as the optometrist. Strongly recommended for the glasses of any family member.

Great selection of glasses for kids! Amazing customer service!

This was the most thorough eye exam I have ever had. Disappointed I wasted all my time at my previous place and worse at the paediatric ophthalmologist office. The Ophthalmologist just wants to do surgery and make money. My friend told me about this place and both my daughters are doing much better after seeing Dr. Luk. She's honest , I would go here if you're ever not sure.
