Paving Contractors

I hired Asphalt Patch to do a concrete parking pad and a 60 ft by 20 ft concrete patio out back. They do not typically do residential concrete work but I had heard they do really nice work and they were eventually able to fit me into their busy schedule. I am extremely happy with the finished product. Chase came out and bid the job and I felt the pricing was very competitive. While prepping the job they made a suggestion to go out a little wider, I was going to do 15 feet originally on the patio. They told me that I'd probably regret not having paid a bit more to do it now down the road, so I took their advice and I am glad I did. It is perfect, I would absolutely recommend using them, and I plan to hire them to re-do my concrete driveway eventually if they can fit me in (they mostly do commercial work, not residential).

Only public truck scale I've found remotely close to Oak Harbor. The hours I've listed are the hours that they open the scale to the public that I am aware of. I haven't been there on weekends. You can call them and ask when they are open if needed. The people that work in the office have always been super friendly to me the few times I've been there and unless it has changed since November 2017 the scale price is 5 dollars a ticket. No discount for reweigh but it's still cheaper than the closest truck stop scale back on I-5. Only downside is they will not do public weights past five. If you can't make it there by then you'll have to get your wife m weight somewhere else. But if you can get your job done within their business hours this is the place for you bedbuggers to get your weight. This place has been kept a local secret for a long time but I had too many driver's last year that forgot to get a weight or thought they could get one from another company they saw somewhere off of WA-20. Even though I would tell them that they were not open for public weights they would still try and we would end up losing hours of time waiting for them to drive back to a moving company or truck stop back on the 5.... Because hey, I'm just the helper that lives here, I don't know what I'm talking about right? Wrong! And so I figured if I put it up here maybe this problem could be avoided because it's on the internet so it must be true. Anyways.... Scale service side these are great people with great products and services. Whether you're just a household driver needing a weight moving a customer or a contractor needing a truckload of building materials to build the house they're moving into.... These guys got you covered and they are as helpful as can be and always have a smile. For Oak Harbor and surrounding areas I'd go to these guys first! And thank you Kreig Construction for being there to help. You've saved me more than once and looking forward to doing business with you again in the future!
