Our ancient water heater sprung a leak and we called Thos. R. Birnie & Sons to ask about purchase and installation of a new one. To be honest, they were my second call. Home Depot said it would be 4 days to get a new water heater installed and they could not tell me what it would cost. I called Birnie because of their reputation and fun logo! The receptionist (whose name I forget...sorry!) was cheery and helpful. She explained the process to me and arranged to have a technician come out the next morning. Jeff called about 45 minutes before his scheduled arrival time to confirm the appointment and to say he would arrive in about 40 minutes. It was exactly 40 minutes when he was at our door! He examined the tank and confirmed it should be replaced. He then left, returned with the new heater and installed it all in the same morning. He took the time to explain what he was doing each step of the way and clearly knew his stuff. My laundry room was cleaner when he left than when he arrived! I would not hesitate to call them again. Had excellent service from Andrew of the St. Catharines Roto Rooter. He was courteous, professional and informative and got the job done quickly and efficiently ! I highly recommend Roto Rooter, we call them for all of our plumbing needs !

I can't say enough about the Baldasaro crew! I had Joe and his sons upgrade my water supply line. Professional and friendly. exceptionally knowledgeable about the Hamilton area. Joe knew exactly what needed to be done and made all the necessary arrangements with the city. They were on time, clean and got the job done in a timely manner and had the best price in town. Don't even bother with getting other quotes, just give them a call!!

Dave is reliable and knowledgable. He completed the work on short notice at a fair price. I would highly recommend him.

Used WM Groves for excavation for a cistern Oct 2016. Damage was done to patio stones by their truck. Was told by crew to advise office of damage upon receiving bill. Finally after requesting the bill numerous times we received the bill February 2017 and as told by the crew requested the cost of damage be removed from the bill. They flat out refuse to cover cost of damage. Very poor customer service. Not a happy customer and do not recommend their services to anyone.

Waited 50 minutes in line to pick up something I called in a head to have ready. They are way under staffed, who ever is the manager here needs to understand that contracts and builders do not have 50 minutes to wait in line. Get your act together

Mike was a life saver when a frozen pipe burst in our basement over the winter. He was quick to assess the problem, fix it and give some helpful suggestions for next year. I recommended him to my parents who called to have him fix some faucets and install a new dishwasher also. They were very pleased with his friendly and knowledgeable service!

Dishonest, slippery. Pads the bill, attempts to do work not requested and over charges what was quoted at estimate. Intimidates when you try to address over billing.

Who says to a potential customer when they call "Have you dealt with us before? oh sorry we are just to busy we are not taking on anymore customers....WHAT? If there was a way of rating this company with no stars I would have choose that selection. POOR POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE GUYS
