Private Schools

I went here for 6 years. This is just my experience. : This school gave me nothing but years of bullying, suicidal thoughts & actions. To start, the teachers did not care I was getting bullied. All those teachers knew about my situation, but chose not to do anything. On top of that, my kinder garden teacher was abusive (Adela). She dragged me and my friend through the classroom and into the hall, and finally in to the low k classroom. The one good thing I have to say is thank you Abbe, or Abbi, Abby, etc. You are awesome, and you should leave and teach at a different school.

I graduated from Columbia Academy in 2010. I think that C.A. did a good job to prepare me for high school and college. It is a small and friendly community that lends itself to being a great learning environment. Would recommend to any kid looking to have good memories/friendships, and a great basis to learn how to learn.

Zion Lutheran is an exceptional school. Mrs. Lori and the entire pre-k and TK professionals are phenominal. The classes are small, especially by public school standards. The dedication of the school in helping to mold caring , compassionate, articulate, Christian, young people is unmatched. Our son has performed in two programs and been included in numerous activities at the school including; Family Movie Nights Dick & Jane Reading Night Dad's Night and others The academic growth and confidence that my son has experienced is well worth the costs connected to the program.

The annual Portland Christmas Revels are full of joy and festivities everyone is welcome to participate in. A must see for any who loves the Christmas tradition.

We love this school for our daughter! The magical combo of arts and challenging academics is turning my free thinker into an interested and engaged student in all subjects. She loves going to school everyday. Her teachers are amazing. It's a very inclusive place, and the downtown campus is teaching her how to confidently navigate in a city.

A wonderful centrally located school. Both of our daughters attend this school and I would strongly recommend it to anyone.

The community and staff are dedicated to each student and their family without limit. The new principal, Mrs. Buich, and backed Fr. John, pioneered the recent 1:1 device program and was the key to bringing technology stability to building that had been lacking for so long. I've found the dedication and joy beaming from each student in this school to be contagious to anyone to enters and I'm proud to have been included.
