they claim to cater to children with behavioral issues and mental health problems. however the principal kicked my son with adhd out after only being there for a month and her reason for doing so was "He said he didn't want to be here". (although he wasn't the one who enrolled himself and now misses his friends from Mrs. Rainey's class.) The Principal Mrs. A proceeded to tell me in this expulsion via telephone that my son would've been able to stay and she would've been able to work with him, IF he had said he wanted to stay. the principal gave no inkling that my son remaining at the school was his up to his discretion, and she kicked him out on a Monday in the middle of the morning, 1 week before graduation. (invites to the ceremony had already been sent to my family and friends). To top it off, i had already purchased uniforms. They do not accept crystal stairs. Tuition prices are fair. teachers are loving and i like that the classes intermingle. i do not recommend this school to anyone with children that have had issues with public school or any of the issues I previously mentioned. I also do not recommend this school to single parents or families that work and have set schedules. you'll be better off enrolling your child in a public school with a 504 plan.

I Went To Almost Every Pre-School In Rocklin But Not Only The Staff There Are Friendly, They Are All Super Professional Too. It Is A Blessing To Find A Great School For My 2 Year Old. Chris The Director Is A Down To Earth And Very Humble Individual. Also What Else Is Cool 1:6 Ratio Teacher/Student. That Is Awesome Which Means They Will Pay A Lot More Attention To Our Kids. Most Schools In The Rocklin Area Is 1:12 Ratio Teacher/Student.

Our son loves this school and everyone there. This has been a true blessing for us.

My rating is based on our most current experience, though we’ve been with this school for about a year and a half. Our child is about to graduate from the infant program, which is one of the programs referenced often in the recent contentious reviews. It’s true that there were several staff changes, which we too were very concerned by, because our child had to get used to the new teacher each time. The owner respectfully listened and took our concerns seriously; overall, she handled the staff changes well, with clear communication. Most importantly, staffing is stable now; our son is loving his current teachers and thriving. As parents, we sincerely hope that the school remains dedicated to striving for continuous improvement so our son and his schoolmates all continue to flourish in a happy and healthy environment. We’re expecting a newborn next year, and are pleased by the quality of current teachers – very flexible, loving, and knowledgeable about early childhood development. We’re looking forward to having him join the Goddard infant program next year!

Back when we first joined the school in 4th grade I wrote this review - they do have homework now and are preparing them for high school.... My daughter has blossomed socially and academically here. (Not in the traditional academic way, since we don't have grades yet) When we came to Highland Hall, my daughter had closer friends in the 2 days she was here than she did at her old school over a period of 6 1/2 years. Academically she is much more interested in what she is learning and actually brings up things she has learned in conversation. She also struggles with visual processing and was not a big reader, but now I have to force her to stop reading her book and go to sleep. I attribute this to having a teacher that gives them free reading time in class when available. When she gets to read around her friends, it's like a book club. Who's reading what and if they are reading the same book, not to give up spoilers. My daughter couldn't be happier. Beats her crying almost every night like before.

I love the low student/teacher ratio, the all encompassing educational program, and their focus on each child's needs. They are more than a school- they are family. If you want your child in a safe and enriching environment, look no further... Brighton is for you!
