Simply the best

Montessori Community School is a fabulous school. We've had experience with other Montessori schools on the mainland, and this one ranks with the best. The teachers are extremely committed, caring, and communicative. Our daughters are both flourishing and the school community is wonderful. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Trinity is a safe environment where children feel comfortable to be themselves. They are loved and nurtured by their peers and teachers. Trinity is a place to build friendships and grow in faith in Jesus. It offers a rigorous curriculum and many musical and athletic opportunities. This school is such a blessing!

Small campus, some bad school lunches, poor academic ability, overpriced and underwhelmed, save up for Punahou. Nice teachers and staff though.

It was an honor to be able to add to their summer program by coaching tennis for this great school. Aloha to all.

In my experience as the mother of a Damien graduate I am very happy overall with the education he received. In particular I was impressed by the enthusiasm and dedication of his teachers. Initially I was apprehensive about whether the education he received would be affected by attending a Catholic school--if his science curriculum would be limited to exclude ideas that directly conflicted with traditional Catholicism, for example--but as far as I could tell that wasn't an issue. My favorite thing about Damien is that my son made some really good friends there, forming tight bonds with a diverse group of really smart & interesting boys from totally different backgrounds, kids I'm sure he never would have met had he attended a different high school.

Great school

This is a wonderful gem of a school tucked away in downtown Honolulu. I have 2 girls who have been given many amazing opportunities academically (including trips to the mainland and Cambodia through their Model UN and Global Girls program), and through sports both at the school and through Pac-5. There is extremely supportive faculty and staff that are always available. I have happy kids that come home at the end of the day! Truly, they have created a global vision of our community and world.

Both of our children have attended Hoala school for many years, beginning with Kindergarten. Our son is now in 6th grade and daughter in 9th grade at Hoala, and we continue to be happy with our decision to send our children to this gem of a school. Our kids are motivated to excel in their studies, take responsibility for their own educational progress, and have developed self confidence in their abilities. These are all qualities that have been nurtured by the Hoala community (teachers and admin. staff).
