Private Schools

For a whole year I researched and toured schools in the valley -everything from Montessori's and public schools, to charters and academies, when I finally toured Rancho Solano I knew it was the one. Not only was the staff incredibly knowledgeable (a few Montessori directors could not answer even the simplest questions) but the school focuses on a dynamic world view and has an amazing music program. I didn't want my child to only have the "Western" education that some academies promoted, and I didn't want the purely "academic" curriculum that some charter schools stressed. I wanted my daughter to have a well rounded education that would help prepare her for our global economy. Rancho was the perfect fit. This isn't to say that the school doesn't value academics. My daughter, who is currently in the Pre-K program has already surpassed her cousin who is in Kindergarten in curriculum material. She knows various sight words, letters, and came home recently talking about cubes, spheres, and cylinders! The staff is incredibly welcoming and works above and beyond for each student. My daughter has a speech/language delay and both her teacher and the principal have not only been flexible with my daughter receiving speech therapy, but also have provided resources and guidance. I can't say enough good things about this school. We love Rancho Solano and can't wait for my son to Starr attending as well.

Challenging, supportive, innovative - perfect fit for our family! A school where children flourish.

My son has always struggled in the classroom due to ADD. This school and the model it presents - one student to one teacher - has been the answer. It works. He actually enjoys learning and has the opportunity to have guided study to complete homework each day. This is a small school that gives a lot of attention to the details of how each student is progressing towards success. This school is less expensive than other schools that might be suitable for learning disability. We are very happy here and hope to complete high school at Halstrom.

This spring was the 2nd time we enrolled our son at Halstrom Academy Beverly Hills Campus mid-year. In 9th grade we arrived in February. In 10th grade we arrived in May. Both experiences saved my son from having to repeat a year of school or even an individual course. We are consistently impressed with how welcoming the staff is to our son and our whole family. How supportive the teaching and administrative staff are and how open everyone there is to working with our family on structuring our son's schedule for test prep especially. The flexibility, the access to teaching staff, the challenging curriculum have all made our Halstrom experiences exceptional. I really couldn't recommend Halstrom Academy Beverly Hills more. We feel blessed to have found them.

We LOVE everything about Woodbridge Private School. From the teachers, staff, campus, daily routines... they are all amazing at what they do, and have this way of making you feel like family. I highly recommended Woodbridge! You will not be disappointed.

Both my children started in P3 (Preschool) at Fairmont Private Schools and have continued their education through elementary school. Our kids are kept happy, challenged, and entertained by their teachers, administration, and helpful parents at school who put on some amazing events. Our daughter transitioned out of Fairmont and is adjusting nicely in her new school. Our son is still currently attending. I always recommend Fairmont to parents, it's fantastic. Their high academics, arts, science, and 2nd language curriculum combined with "Character Counts" initiatives have made us really happy.

Way too expensive. Tricks parents into paying because of its high education while its economy/quality Isn’t so great.

I attended Fairmont North Tustin for junior high. My teachers were amazing, and helped me discover my strengths and talents. They set me up to be successful for high school, college, and beyond. Now, 11 years later, I am back as a part of the school faculty. I have been given the opportunity to give back to the school that gave me so much. The number one goal at Fairmont North Tustin is to provide each child with the best possible education experience. Every member of the campus, including administrators, teachers, and staff, share this vision. It empowers us all to put the child first in every decision we make. I am lucky to work in a school with such a vibrant and positive community of educators. Our families trust us to take care of their children for as long as they're on our campus, and that is a promise we strive to fulfill each day we come to work.
