VBS Day School interweaves a top notch academic approach, with the arts, athletics, Judaics, science and technology. One of the components most meaningful to our children is that the importance of community service and the world around us is interwoven into class discussions, school projects and field trips. Our children are thriving at VBSDS and we can't recommend it highly enough.

Our family has been a Laurel Hall family since 2009. This will be our last year at the school as my daughter will be graduating 8th grade. Our experience has been nothing short but amazing. The community, teachers, staff and parents have made my daughter prepared for high school. Our middle school has undergone many changes and I feel it is the strongest ever! Our new principal, Jay Guidetti has really made positive impact to our school and I am so excited to see what he has for the future. He is very involved in the classrooms observing teachers and students. He greets all families in the morning and always makes time for meetings. Pastor Marty has also made a huge impact in our community. He is kind, warm and is so great with the kids and parents. This school is a GEM!

Horrible

The daycare on 7th street Primeros Pasos really leaves a good impression on me about daycares. Unlike the previous daycare my 2 girls attended (now 18 months and 3 years old) my girls were always clean when i picked them up my 3 year old was always happy to see her teacher my baby never got a diaper rash and had a fresh diaper on everytime i picked her up. My 3 year old learned how to count in Spanish and would even pretend that she was speaking in spanish she already knew her abcs and how to count to 10 but she learned songs in Spanish. Picking a daycare really depends on the vibes you get and how your children react. The staff were all really friendly and built bonds with my girls. Monica in the office is great and my 3 year old loved her teacher Maria when she was in the 2 year old section and she also loved Dora who is also in the office and I think in the classes sometimes. The staff in general are all great at Primeros Pasos on 7th street.
