Private Schools

It was one of the best decisions I have made! After so many years out of school, going back was not easy...but I did it, and I do not regret it! Staff and teachers were great, a lot of work and commitment, but I knew I had the support of my teachers and classmates. I graduated with honors and I now have a great job!!! I love everything about my job and I am grateful to Medix College for the experience and knowledge. Thank you everyone!!!

CAWB is a dying breed...good old fashion values, discipline, academics, and LOVE❤ I have reared five children , and NEVER have I seen a school ( public or private) run so efficiently. The cleaning staff keeps CAWB spotless, the office is well organized as are the teachers while Sister Gail runs a tight ship. Walk into the building, and you will not see children running wild or teachers raising their voices. You will see order, respect, and happy students. There are rules everywhere we go, and if we don't follow them Cahos ensues. I have seen firsthand the downside of inconsistency in enforcing school rules,and that would be loss of control over the student body which greatly affects academic success, as well as the relationships among teachers, parents, and students. Public school has failed miserably in this area, and private schools are quickly catching up as they have been forced to relax their standards due to low enrollment because parents are uncomfortable with school staff following protocol, i.e., chewing gum, proper uniform, loud voices in the hall, missing assignments, disrespectful attitude toward toward anyone, etc. As I said, CAWB is a dying breed. your child's future is in good hands at CAWB. Your child will graduate with a firm foundation on how to navigate in this world if you as a parent come into this "family " with the right attitude trusting that the principal, teachers , and staff have your child's best interest at heart❤ Vikki Smith

It's a school what reason do I need

After moving from Toronto, we were looking for an alternative to our private school and after our meeting with Mr. Gore, we knew that the choice was clear. We fell in love with friendly family atmosphere, individualized/customized learning plans, emphasis on academics, and educational paths that prepare students for university right from kindergarten. I never worry about the safety of my children. Thank you, Scholar's Hall, for welcoming our boys and for everything you do for their development on a daily basis.

I've never known a school to be more focused on optimizing learning in deeply meaningful and useful ways for each unique student. Innovative teaching methods matched with novel school practices to help students awaken their intrinsic drive to learn, help the community, and develop to their full potential, including and beyond academic achievement. The small size allows the school to be flexible and responsive to the needs of all students, parents, and teachers; allows students, parents, and staff to have a familial relationship; and allows dedicated staff to personalize curricula and extracurricular activities to suit their student population. When my son is old enough, I plan to send him here.

I am so pleased with the choice of LHCS for our boys - Grade 1 and Part-time JK. The programs chosen to meet the curriculum expectations have been thoughtfully selected and consider a variety of learning styles. The teaching and administrative staff are welcoming, approachable and they have the students best interests at heart! Part -Time JK/SK provides a wonderful introduction to school and a lovely home/school balance for our youngest son. The proof for my review - it's almost March and both boys bounce out the door each morning excited for their school days with little to no grumbling or complaining. This tells me that LHCS is a place where my boys feel loved, safe and comfortable. Ultimately, a school where they can thrive.

This school is awesome

I went here for an interview and entrance exam, the staff were very friendly and our tour guide was very informative. Great facilities and resources, the students were very inviting. Lunch was great, it has halal,vegan and gluten-free options and the food was as good as if it was made by a 5-star chef. The school has a lot of space for outdoor games and indoor facilities like a pool, gymnasiums, and tennis and squash courts. Altogether a great school and I’m looking forward to going there!
