When I was expecting my first child, I called and visited many child care centers and schools in Cuyahoga County. As a teacher myself I was looking for curriculum, lessons, and activities that would help develop my children. Goddard was one of my last stops and from the moment I entered the first set of doors I could tell that this place was significantly different than anywhere else. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They had a way about them that I could tell they really loved what they were doing. I was especially impressed by the infant room. They had lessons and curriculum even for infants. There were stations and activities to keep them stimulated. Other places I constantly found the same children left in swings and bouncey chairs while the staff members were huddled talking to each other. At Goddard, the rooms were bright and filled with art work from all of the students, even infants. For the older children I found students were well-mannered, interacting with each other appropriately and engaged in lessons… but when I visited other places I found chaos, and children running around without any lesson or specific activity going on. I now have two children at Goddard and I wouldn't trust anyone else with the responsibility of taking care of my children, educating them, showing them life skills and exposing them to different things. My children are also very different, they learn differently and are interested in different things, however the teachers at Goddard have also addressed those individual needs with my children. My children did not get a one size fits all experience, rather the Teacher adapted to my individual childrens’ needs. My children have been there for a number of years now and they love going to back to visit their past teachers who are all still there. I would never send my children anywhere else. My children love "going to school" and that is what Goddard is a school, not a day care, and there is a difference. You should consider Goddard before choosing a child care provider so you can see the difference yourself.

Best school in Kent for K-8 !!! The teachers are their to teach because they love it. The tuition is affordable for a private school, the classes are small which means the the teachers can spend time individually with students.

I cannot speak higher of this school! My husband and I searched high and low to find a good fit for our family: one that is caring, compassionate, culturally rich, and that excels academically. We have been a part of MCS for 2 years now and my children have grown tremendously! The staff truly cares for these children and the before and after school enrichment program is fantastic! My eldest son loathed school before MCS, now he tells everyone how much he loves it! It brings great peace of mind knowing they're in good hands!
