Private Schools

I have been blessed to be a 3rd generation student of Lutheran West. West has always been apart of my life and will so in the future. I recieved rigorous academics to get me ready for college. The teachers were caring and wanted me to succeed. I was able to be a three sport athlete but also participate in other activities. I grew a lot in my faith throughout high school during a tragic time in my life. The care from the Lutheran West Community was unbelievable. The Spiritual life at West through chapel, the music and theology were impactful in my walk with Christ. I am beyond blessed to have gone to Lutheran West. It has really shaped me who I am today.

When I went here in 2015 there was a lot of bullying in every grade. I felt like the teachers were just there for the money and didn’t care about the students. Would not recommend this school.

Proud to say we had 4 children graduate from Padua, and they are all happily married, successful addition to their business families and outstanding parents of a total of 11 children!

It's the best of everything for my child.....spiritually, academically, and socially.

My daughter attends pre-k here and she has had a wonderful experience.

Very disappointed with the customer service at this place. We were very interested in having our wedding ceremony here. Sue Martin never answers her phone, I left numerous voicemails over the course of a month and a half. I also sent 4 emails that went unanswered for two months. When I finally got a response via email, we scheduled an appointment to tour the venue and put a down payment on our date. We went to the chapel, only to find all the doors locked. I called, of course she didn't answer. A janitor saw us outside and let us in. There was no one there to meet us. We left and Sue Martin has still not contacted me after missing our scheduled appointment. Needless to say, I will not do business with this place because of the lack of customer service that they provide. I have spoke with others about it and they've experienced similar things.

This school is growing and actively seeking new students, however their policies have not caught up with the diversity of Christian families living in today's world. Additionally, lack of programming to accommodate working parents exhibits a clear inadequacy against larger, longer-established, academy rigorous private schools. Single families and/or working parents are at a disadvantage because the school lacks the structural support they need: - The school does not offer a before-school program (cannot drop off children before 8AM) - After care program ends relatively early (must pick off children by 5:30PM) - After care program has no tutor to thoroughly check homework/study with child - The school will not accommodate special needs - The school frequently has meetings, programs, etc. during school hours, which working parents cannot attend - The school has no regular hot lunch program - Importantly, the school will not enforce a court-ordered parenting agreement, regardless of circumstances. Single families/two-working-parent households are likely not a good fit for WCA because the school simply lacks support to accommodate them.
