The drive thru was closed so I went into the lobby where I waited 11 minutes for a big Mac meal and the fries were so cold it was as if they arrived via the Arctic Circle. I won't return.

D Jay`s Restaurant
3354 Portage Ave, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3K 0Z1, Canada
First time there. Had a very nice burger combo. I ate it all gone. Many in our party had pizza, everyone seemed to enjoy there meal.
Service was not strong, 4 people in our party asked for a couple minutes to review the drink menu and were never asked about drinks again.
Pricey but it's an institution in the neighbourhood and very conservative so it's probably resting on it's past and not trying too hard.

Overall a regrettable experience. Interior sadly in need of renovation. Carpets under tables very dirty. The menu is lackluster, food delivered not presented as pctured or described in the menu, overpriced for what it is. Not worth stopping there.
Capital Grill and Bar

Wonderful ambience and delicious food at this lovely restaurant tucked away in beautiful Charleswood. Our server Adam was great and very efficient. We started with a seafood chowder that was the best I ever had. Then had a hard time choosing between a mouth watering variety of main courses. We drove a long way to try this place and would definitely go again. First rate! !

Went there to catch up and have drinks with a friend and let me tell you the drinks are some of the best I’ve had in a long time! Super tasty and well named. Good variety and they’re different than other places. Love the atmosphere at this place. Can not wait to go back and try the food. Will definitely be bringing more friends to try!
