Fresh Wasabi! Blue Fin! I travel all around the US and have had a lot of Sushi. By far one of the best in the nation! Fresh high quality fish, and amazing service! If you want high quality sushi, leave the rolls for places that have sub par fish and let the fish be the meal here. Get a Chirashi bowl, sashimi, or Nigiri. Rolls are great here too, but why cover up such high quality fish? Also get the fresh/real wasabi. Fresh/real wasabi is very hard to find. Once you have had fresh you will never want to go back to the horse radish paste most call wasabi.

I go hear for lunch because it's halfway between Pleasanton and Fremont and I meet a friend there. Almost everytime I walk in the customers look up and give you that "what are you doing here?" look. This is a locals place and I suspect everybody knows everybody. Once past that the service is OK but the food is really good. I usually order fish and they never overcook it. My rating is based mostly on the food. Good pasta as well!

It's a McDonalds and you know what the food is like. But service here is above average for McD, among the best, and very fast. Location is conveniently off freeway and architecture is interesting. If dining in, there is additional parking at back. They have a "tree" every Christmas (made of string of lights, quite tastefully done) with lighting ceremony.
