Location, ambiance is sweet. Great water show at 8pm makes it unique and well needed. Felt bad for an under staffed wait staff, Manager was running for all night and we had to go to the bar on our own to get drinks during dinner. Prices should reflect better service, just not enough help but everyone was working hard. Appetizers were just ok... Our main dishes were delicious and cooked perfect, nicely done although portions were meager at best. Probably due to the fact our appetizers weren't that good. Bottom line,: great food on the entree side and sweet location and feel just need to step it up on the service side to bring it all together with bigger portions and at a lower cost if the service isn't representing.

Sad about this Denny's. The first time I went there everything was amazing. This last time, service was great, but the food was another story. Sent back the loaded tots because they were swimming in chilli, then when my mother in laws grilled cheese came out, it was so hard and not even edible. Our server had the cooks remake it, it came back drenched in that fake butter stuff. No thank you. She took it off the check. The rest of the food was good. Burger. Fries, spaghetti and meatballs were fantastic.

Good food, slow counter service. Wrong order. I'm disappointed with this location. El Cajon. Far end east. They change their staff every other week and never have enough to serve. I waited for 15 minutes for someone to come to the counter to take my order. Ordered one supreme and one sausage breakfast sandwich. I got two cold sausage sandwiches. Coffee is always cold. I hate writing bad reviews and I know that the employees are not to blame. They are running themselves to death. Hire more help help you cheap slave driver, or let jack have his store back.

The best one for miles around. Always freshly made and piping hot. Excellent customer service and pay attention to detail. I have never come away without napkins and spoons or straws. Always asks about condiments. I am always happy to wait a few more minutes for fresh food or perfect fries. Finally a place where you get what you pay for.
