What charming, simple and pleasant surprise this tiny restaurant was! This is NOT a fancily decorated eatery with golden Buddhas, hanging tassled lamps and ornate Chinese screens. What it is, it's a 50's something diner converted by adding Chinese food to the Canadian menu. We had battered excellent shrimp appetizers, Chinese Noodle Soup with BBQ pork for starters. BIG portions right off the bat told us there would be take home at the end of this meal! Next we enjoyed pork fried rice and rice noodles with BBQ pork. Both were delicious. Our charming waitress was low key, but attentive. In other words, perfect! The price was reasonable, especially when we left after lunch with dinner in hand!😆

I will return every time I pass through Hope. Staff is super friendly, and the food is incredible. I had the steak and eggs, and it was perfect. Steak was seasoned well and cooked just how I ordered it, eggs were perfect (over easy), and the hash browns actually tasted like fresh potatoes, unlike some breakfast places. Definitely has the old school diner feel, it's super cozy and friendly. Loved it here!

Went through the drive thru. Fish and chips with coke was 9.5 plus tax. Three pieces. Yummy. I think $15 inside? Their basic Hamburger was 3.69. Maybe only on Tuesday. Very happy. Going back. Expectations exceeded to tenth power.

Absolutely love this place! Dated but well kept and comfortable. Always stop in on our way to Vancouver. The food has always been great and friendly service as well. Make sure to save room for a piece of pie, it's worth it.

Went there during my interview with Nestle Waters. Ordered a coffee and a breakfast sandwich. The coffee was perfectly brewed. Sandwich(sausage egg muffin) was nice and crispy. Enjoyed the warm coffee with the scene of lush green mountain in the background with clouds covering its top. I set for about 2 hours and prepared for my interview in the afternoon. At noon, I ordered chicken burger and the fries. Burger was decent, but the fries were a bit salty. Went for my interview at 1:00. Came back happy at 3:00. Ordered my afternoon coffee and small fries. Fries were perfect this time, and so was the coffee(as before). It was a weekday, so there were 2-3 groups of old people, who were enjoying their coffees. I had already finished my fries, and was having my coffee with a local newspaper. Suddenly, a gentleman from one of the groups came to me and asked whether I was going to use he free coffee sticker on my cup. I don't go to McD's regularly, so I offered him the sticker. It was a nice light chat with him. I really liked the way staff was serving their customers. They were smiling gently and hosting people warmly. Unlike those fake smiles or even no smiles you get in Vancouver. At 4:45 I headed back to Vancouver with satisfaction of a good interview and my experience with small town McDonald's.

I was on a September of 2017 on an International vacashion writing between Kelowna and Victoria. It was a hard days motorcycle ride, I stopped here the staff was wonderful some of the best Italian food I've ever had. ( whether it had to do with being on the road or not I don't care) So if I'm ever passing by hope again I'll have to stop and try to eat there again.

Great food, good drinks, our server was attentive and it was packed which has to count for something.

Living in Chilliwacktried different restaurants. Finally found this wonderful restaurant where I could have traditional, large quantity and excellent quality Chinese food. Certainly some localized Chinese-Western food is not my style. But most traditional Chinese food I tested were very good. If you like the real taste of fresh stir fly food which is not too heavy and not too light, this is a must try restaurant.

Ginkgo is a middle of the road restaurant. The almond chicken was good. The chicken chow mein noodles did not taste fresh. I did get tasty beef there once but the noodles tasted like they were in the fridge too long and did not taste fresh. However if you get everything fresh made I'm sure it would be great.

Came here for my birthday. Food was great. Pie was great. Service was okay. Waitress must have been having an off day. It would have been nice if she had smiled even once.

Yum! Traditional White Spot burger greatness! Drive through or eat-in... fast, convenient... it's Triple O to go!

Good food and good service and friendly staff with a touch of the old country look and feel

Dined on a Saturday night. Service was slow. Mains took 1 hour 15 mins to arrive. The cooked foods were terrible. Ordered a medium rare steak and got a borderline well done. The seafood appetizers were a saving grace. Do not recommend.
