My boyfriend and I needed a place to eat after having a lazy morning in bed, and the laid-back atmosphere here was perfect. The food was delicipus, our order came out quick and we were both very happy with what we had. The server was very friendly and chill. Fiance and I decided to give the place a chance. Regretted it shortly after. Soup was amazing. Main course was disappointing. My steak was mostly gristle/fat and my fiance's ribs were pretty much the same and had little to no sauce. Couldn't eat even half of our meals. Best part was the chocolate mints...

Went there on Good Friday, staff where super accommodating given the situation. Food was fabulous as always, our server was outstandingly friendly. Cam (the owner) came out to chat with us later, a very nice gesture first of all, then some drinks, he's a super great guy!! Thanks Yamagoya for another fabulous experiment, I tip my hat to all of the staff for consistently being awesome!!!!

They always have amazing food and their portions are very generous!! Love it for dinning in and taking out. We always have leftovers for lunch the next day. Highly recommend!!

We were in Fernie for one night and got told to visit here for dinner by our front desk staff at the hotel. We were not disappointed! Pricing is fair and pretty comparable to other restaurants. I had the fish and chips and really enjoyed it! My companion had the roasted veggies off the salad menu and wasn't 100 percent about those. But the half chicken added was delicious and cooked very well!! Our server was amazing, so friendly and helpful when it came to questions about the menu! Thank you I'll definitely recommend this place to others visiting Fernie!!

Stood at counter with no one in sight for at least 4 minutes. No one else being served only one other customer having subs at a table. Tuna sub, usually really good was very dry, was sub par at best. Bread was dry! A 12" and a side was 11.10! Not a good deal for what was served. This location has gone WAY downhill. Very disappointed. Have stopped here many times..at least four or five times in a two month period..for the past 12 years. Won't be going back any time soon. Will go to Sparwood or Fernie...their service is excellent
