Someone came door to door a year ago and we accepted a bid for a remodeled shower, since they said they could do anything. This bid was reasonable, around $2500, depending on what we chose to do. Called back to get work done and told same guy didn't work there and needed new quote. Price skyrocketed to $8406 but would give us "a discount of 25% and charge $6305!!!
If they don't want to do small jobs, they should just be honest. Back to getting new quotes and already back to the reasonable amounts with the new people that have come so far!
These guys are ridiculous!
