Shop was clean and spacious and all of the staff made me feel very welcome and at home. I got an incredible floral piece done by Shan and I was an overwhelmingly impressed at his artistry and at the talents of all of the other artists who's work I had the pleasure of seeing as well. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

I went in for a consultation, the staff were welcoming and served me tea while I waited. Jennifer was not rushed and spent the time to explain things clearly. As a scientist it was nice to hear the rational behind her recommendations.The consultation was professional, friendly and honest.

Not being a really fancy or over-the-top kind of girl, I was apprehensive botox and dermal fillers would change the way I look. I don't need to have lips like Angelina Jolie. But after having been with Angela- my skin-care technician at Skinpossible- for two years now, I can honestly say I look and feel more youthful and beautiful than my 42 years. At first I just got botox, and loved the results. To date I have also had dermal filler in my lips and most recently my cheeks. Y'all, I'm hooked! Angela and I were joking, because some people put aside monthly to splurge on a Louis Vuitton bag. Me? I put aside money monthly to look my best beautiful self. For me, it is an exquisite form of self-care. About Angela: Always I feel in completely capable, competent hands. With her background in nursing, and her gentle, caring manner, she patiently answers all my questions, quells my fears, and celebrates my new beauty. She is gifted at her craft, and I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone considering a fresh, rejuvenating look.

Drove all the way from carstairs but was definitely worth it, made me feel very comfortable and was overall a pleasant experience. Would definitely recommend to a friend in the future.

Poor customer service. 6 year old daughter chose turquoise color studs from display case. Samples were blue/green color and staff mentioned variations in blue/greeness between pairs. No problem - we like blue/green. No word of brown colored veins in some pieces. Piercer brought out a 2.5 mm pair but kept them in her hand - no offer to inspect the pieces. We focused on earring placement, the smile on our kid's face, and hustled our small kids home to bed. Noted a mark on one earring and planned to clean it in morning. Turned out to be a brown colored vein (simulating natural turquoise) running through the tiny earring. Our 6 year old doesn't care about realistic brown veins in synthetic turquoise - she just wanted pretty blue/green earrings and that's what we thought we purchased. Now she has one that makes her friends ask why it looks dirty - not exactly the keepsake earrings we hoped for. We asked Manager for one replacement earring. We should have insisted on inspecting the jewellery, but trusted we were getting the same earring as advertised. The display samples were not labelled "synthetic turquoise" to tip us off and there were no examples of brown veins in the turquoise display pieces. Staff, who knew about brown color variations, didn't say a helpful word, like "there's a large brown vein running through this tiny earring - is that okay?" I was also dismayed that I inadvertently tipped 25% on over $150 worth of jewellery in addition to piercing service - total bill was $183 - ouch indeed. The credit card machine doesn't itemize costs and at that point in our visit I couldn't remember what Reception said about the price of piercing vs earrings vs shafts...Would be helpful if Dragon FX gave an invoice to review, not just a cc card receipt at the end of payment transaction. Manager acknowledged our concerns and offered 20% off the cost of a new $25 earring. This feels like a token response to a reasonable request for one replacement earring. We came to get a professional piercing and the ear is healing well, thankfully. In light of our overall experience, however, we will not recommend, or return to Dragon FX.

This place is actually really great. Nice people. Very calm atmosphere. Troy was great. Very gentle and very little pain. Highly reccomend this place. Will be going back soon for more piercings and definitely going to tip way more.

went in for Walk in Weekend at the new Airdrie location, the shop its self is amazingly done & so clean / organized & the sections for each artist is a good idea. Got in for the afternoon with the artist ( Devon ) for a neck piece I’ve been wanting for a year now, he was great -from the moment I met him he made sure I was comfortable, always was checking on me, easy to talk with & was very light handed while tattooing - which my neck appreciated haha. He always explained things prior to doing them to make sure I was ok. Devon made the whole experience at Human Kanvas amazing I will be back for all my neck tattoo’s with him in the future! Thanks again Devon !

So happy with my experience here! I worked with Janelle on a spooky ghost piece, and came in from NYC to have it done. Her work is amazing and she’s super nice as well. Everyone there was very friendly and the shop is clean. Highly recommend.

Alissa Jane is hands down a top tier piercer in Edmonton. She truly gives you the best piercing experience you can. I got an exotic area pierced and wanted the best of the best and three years later I am still so in love and beyond happy ♥️
