Tattoo

I had such an amazing experience, I had an appointment with Ollie and he did a fantastic job. I LOVE the tattoo and have gotten compliments not only from friends, but from strangers in public. Originally he tattoo’d me for the first time a couple of years ago and the tattoo still looks brand new! Tattoos are extremely personal, so it’s amazing for me to be able to have the ability to trust Ollie’s judgement and let him do his thing, knowing that whatever he does will be nothing less than a work of art. I will be back soon! Ps. This tattoo shop is the most lovely place! It’s extremely cute (and clean) and the woman that greeted me upon arrival was extremely friendly.

Honestly I got a tattoo at black owl tattoo a year ago it was a great experience and I got coupons for my mom and I to get a tattoo after. I called a couple months later asking to book to get the tattoos they said they would call me back and never did. Next time I went to use the coupons which I payed 200 bucks for i found out they had closed. And so I payed 200 dollars for nothing only to find out that the owner is under investigation for sexual harassment. 😒

Couldn't have asked for a better tattoo experience! The tattoo artists are awesome, morgan at the front desk is awesome even the clients are awesome. I had a great time chatting away with everyone! Definitley a one of a kind experience this shop really is special. And my tattoo is SO SO beautiful its way better than i imagined i haven't been able to stop looking at my arm hahaha. Allysa was my artist and she is great i love her enthusiasm she really is an artist and is great at what she does. Great thumbs up and i cant wait to come back.

Got a cute little tattoo done by the wonderful Carys! She was super sweet, and charismatic. Go see her if you love fun chats, singing, and lots of laughs! Everyone in the shop was super friendly, and welcoming. Will definitely be back for more!

I got my first two (tiny) tattoos here that meant a lot to me and I have to say, although I was initially very intimidated upon entering the store, I left very happy! I initially booked a time with Lisa but due to certain circumstances I ended up getting tattooed by a different artist last minute (I believe his name is Spencer), which was still fine by me. I'm a perfectionist at heart and I really, really appreciate how he took the time to sort of tweak my designs for me and make sure everything was to my liking before starting! I also brought a few friends that wanted to get tattoos as well but ended up not doing so and the staff was still nice enough to not kick them out haha. Overall, I would definitely go back!

Jokers has come a long way from when I got my bellybutton pierced back in 2008. Ten years later, I'm getting my first big tattoo piece started. My artist John was clean and professional. The entire staff was welcoming and friendly. I'm excited to finish my sleeve and recommend you pop in and give them a look!

I recommend the services of this salon. I use laser hair removal and I'm not sorry for making this decision. It's not painful, it's affordable, and it has a great staff. Thank you, Lucia Teodorescu & the team.

I had a procedure with Dr. Kamal, and I was deeply impressed. He answered all of my questions, took the time to explain everything thoroughly, and I never felt rushed or pushed into anything unnecessary. I would definitely recommend this office.

Got my arm done by Jeff back in '14. I still Can't believe how perfect it turned out. People to date ask where I got my work done and I have no problem telling them to see Jeff in Calgary. The quality of my tattoo required no touch ups, however I got it touched up anyway mainly just to go say hey and hang out. (Cause he's that awesome!!!!)

My husband and I went to our honeymoon in Banff, AB. Wednesday, August 22nd, we went hiking up on Mt. Lipsett up in Kanaskis and upon approaching the summit, after a three hour climb, we encountered a grizzly about a hundred yards from us. We backed up slowly and made our way to the treeline and ran for our lives. Fear took over and what took us three hours to get to the summit, only took us one hour to come down. My husband and I do a lot of hiking here at home in Seattle, WA but we've never really had any type of encounters with wildlife with our area being so populated and the trails here well trodden. Now, we know about bear spray and to never hike without it. On our last night in Banff, I had the idea of getting a tattoo. My idea came to me at 7 pm. The local tattoo shop in Banff had closed for the night. We were heading into Calgary and planning to sleep in the car due to an early flight the next morning. We had to be at the airport at 5 am for an 8 am flight. I searched tattoo shops in Calgary and everywhere had closed. I came across Leaves with Ink and it said open 24 hours. I gave him a call told me it was by appointment only and he was interested in our story and decided to meet us at his shop at 10 pm. Leaves is such a chill guy! He made us feel comfortable and was very accommodating! Did a great job on both mine and my husbands tattoos. He even let us crash on his couch that night for a few hours so we didn't have to sleep in our cars! All around an awesome experience! I will definitely be hitting him up for any more tattoos when I'm in Calgary again. Truly a believer in things happening for a reason, feel like it was just meant to be that we met Leaves! Now, he's a part of our story that we will forever tell. Awesome guy!

Got some ink in here today and I'm well happy with the out come!!! Sulley Whipped up the drawing in no time and had such a light touch he was half way true the tat before I realised he had started. Ima defo be back.and as a plus all the staff were great crack and very welcoming.

Best shop in Alberta hands down. Dustin Pool at the wheel of a comfortable, affordable and well located shop (lots of parking on the street) the other artists also bringing top artistry and friendly positive attitudes.

Josh did a sick bio-mech tattoo to cover up a pretty big scar on my leg. I left it to him to design something after our consultation. End result: Mind....Blown! Worth every hour spent driving from Edmonton and every hour spent in the chair. Very happy with the experience in the studio and in dealing with Josh. HIGHLY RECOMMEND getting inked by Josh. You won't be disappointed
