I DO NOT recommend Comox Valley Animal Hospital. I was told by the staff that Dr. Zita was receptive to integrative medicine before scheduling the appointment. This was not the case, as I observed during my visit. Dr. Zita clearly did not know homeopathy, and she even stated that I knew more about it than she did. Dr. Zita gave an unsatisfactory exam; she seemed to be intimidated by my growling cat. I repeatedly assured her that he would not bite her. I paid $90 for a substandard exam. A few weeks later, I scheduled a phone consultation with Dr. ZIta, but I never received the call. When I called the clinic to inquire about my appointment, I was told that I was not booked. Despite the fact that I had made two payments to the clinic and had a phone record from the day the appointment was set up, they denied the appointment and my client status. I was told indirectly that they would not continue to treat my cat without providing a reason. This clinic's personnel are dishonest and unprofessional.

A couple of years ago, Dr. Plaxton was instrumental in helping save the eye-sight (and consequently the life) of a horse I was leasing. He had bi-lateral corneal ulcers and was in considerable pain and discomfort. Her care of this horse was outstanding, and I was impressed by her knowledge, commitment, compassion and professionalism. She even took the effort to consult with veterinary colleagues at various Universities, to ensure that she was doing everything possible for this horse. It was a long road to recovery, but he did recover and went on to lead a normal life. I highly recommend Epona Equine Veterinary Services!

We've been taking our two Great Danes to see Dr. Seaman for several years now, and are THRILLED with the way he runs his clinic, and with all of his staff members. Up front, honest, trustworthy, and they truly have kind hearts and want nothing but the best for your fur babies. We had been to several other vets here in the Comox Valley, but none of them compared to the quality of care that our girls have gotten from Dr Seaman and his staff. Our dogs agree... they actually get excited about getting in the car and going to the vet.

Both my kitties were fixed here, and I get their flea medicine here and I find it reasonably priced and the staff seems to genuinely care about the animals they see. I brought my mean cat in a while ago for an infected cut above her eye which they took very good care of and it healed nicely. I was prepared to pay for sedation but they managed to treat her without it. Surprising, she is quite vicious lol. Again the price was reasonable and less than I was expecting. They were also very patient with me as i had to call more than once to reschedule because i couldn't catch the cat to bring her in.

My dog loves them my rats love them me and my bf love them!! They are all so nice and caring called me the next day to check on my rat and it’s just so sweet I would never trust anyone with my rats/pets ever again ♥️♥️♥️♥️😭
