Wedding Hall

My husband and I had our son’s baptism at Prima Luna and we and all of our guests were very disappointed. Party was supposed to start at 5 and my guests were very rudely told to wait outside until 5:30. Outside, on the pavement; All 80 of us. The valet was upset that we were in their way ( with reason), waiting in the parking lot for half an hour. ( our party was held in the tent) Once we were allowed in, we were not served anything until 720. Not even bread, because the bread is « only to be served with the appetizers » . Our main dish only came out by 10:45 . My guests were furious and many didn’t stay for dessert. The food was good, however the rudeness of the maître D and the length between courses made the taste of the food insignificant. The tent had AC however it only cooled half of the tent space. Actually, I should say half of the guests were FROZEN, wearing scarves and jackets in May , and the other half were sweating. It was so cold on one side of the text that the waiters admitted to standing on the warm side because they could not stand the cold any longer. Needless to say, my husband and I were embarrassed and furious. Our guests were upset. I had heard many good things about the restaurant, however they failed immensely with us and our guests kept saying they would never go back there. Perhaps they were having a bad day, as they were fully booked, but I don’t see why my son’s baptism had to pay the price .. just very disappointing. ***** I am editing to add that the young waiters and waitresses were really Great :)

Been here for a wedding. What a wonderful place! Good service and good place to spend time for ceremonies.

Vue is an amazing place to host an event. The different spaces can be configured to make the event unique and special. The attention to detail and organization of the staff are phenomenal. Many thanks for a memorable experience.

One of our friends that got married who had him as photographer called him a ninja, and I am just going to repeat his words, he was a ninja. Jimmy was sort of our foundation, support. We knew that he knew a lot about what should happen. He was our guide throughout the whole wedding day and also the day before the wedding and throughout the week. He was like one of our friends. Just being here with us, he was very attentive to our needs, attentive to details, very attentive to details. It was amazing, it was a great experience. He's a great person, extremely professional. He knows exactly how weddings work, he knows exactly what to expect. It's kind of like having a planner there with you at the same time and that was something that really reassured us in the whole process. He gave us little pep talks, made sure that even when I was crying about something that has just happened, he was there to reassure us, to reassure me, you know what? It's going to be fine. She really likes the nice pictures, she is looking for something very specific. She saw his work and really liked what he had. I trust her opinion. I know in the end, after having seen the pictures, they are gorgeous. I know there's going to be a lot of good memories and it was definitely worth bringing Jimmy over here because I think he really captured those moments. I think that photography is one of the most important parts of the wedding day. It is the elements that will allow you to look back at the pictures and relive those moments. Especially when someone like Jimmy, who is more of a photojournalistic kind of person, style, he will be able to catch those moments. It won't be just all posey like everyone smiling and everyone just perfect. It will be those tears, it will be that awkward smile or that laugh or the funny dance move. The funny pose that you made. It's what makes you comment on the pictures and make you remember, oh my god, remember when he did that or I was laughing at that joke when he took that picture... That's so important, having just an uncle taking pictures is not going to give you the same effect at all. Jimmy was the one who initiated the meeting, you know what? Let's meet up. Let's see what you guys want, what I can offer. How we interact with each other and how we fit together. So all these questions we had, and he went ahead and did all the research that needed to be done to answer those questions. To me, that was key, in choosing Jimmy as our photographer. It was an amazing, amazing day.
