Maquette A Berkeley Event Venue
111 King St E, Toronto, Ontario, M5C 1G6, Canada
We hold a fundraiser event at La Maquette for our charitable organization, everything was perfect, from food to staff. Angel and all the staff there was so helpful to us and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Organization was on point. The food tasted great and everyone attended our event complimented the venue. I would 100% recommend this venue. We had a very successful event because of their help.

St Lawrence Hall

If you want to see a vintage touch of Toronto then you must visit this Mansion. I was lucky to attend an event there and I was mesmerized with the immense experience I got there when it comes to look and feel of the hall. I did somehow cannot find the exterior picture of the hall and I would surely update when I found or click one asap but all I can say is- beautiful.

We held our staff retreat there last night and had an amazing time! The staff we're so helpful and generous, the venue was beautiful, and whole process from start to finish was seamless. Thanks to Kristin who helped us organize and who was incredibly supportive throughout the night.

No longer a restaurant but a gorgeous old Toronto building and pretty decent place to host a business function. Have been to a number of things here, very conducive space for all sorts of events.
Mariposa Cruises
Toronto, Ontario, M5J 1A7, Canada
For 80 -90 a person, the dinner cruise was just perfect. The menue had a wide variety of food that was very enjoyable. Not to mention, the service was great. Kai (may be wrong spelling) gave my guests a pleasant experience that made the night truly unforgettable.
For reference it was a dinner cruise on the show boat.
The Burroughes Building
639 Queen St W, Toronto, Ontario, M5V 2B7, Canada
Recently attended a wedding here. The space was inviting, however not open concept enough to include all attendees in the festivities throughout the night. The rooftop terrace was a relaxing addition to the wedding offering an escape from the loud music and dancing. Staff were very friendly and helpful, but were too quick to pick up drinks that were unattended (if you placed a full drink down and turned around to talk to someone it would be picked up by a server and discarded). Overall, lovely place.

Enoch Turner Schoolhouse Museum and Special Events Venue
106 Trinity St, Toronto, Ontario, M5A 3C6, Canada
The moment we stepped into the Enoch Turner schoolhouse in September of 2017, we knew it was the perfect venue for our wedding. The space is gorgeous and requires very little to “dress it up” for a wedding.
The high ceilings, green beams and archways, and cathedral like windows in the grand hall gave a dramatic, ethereal feel to the ceremony – at night, the candles we had placed in the window sills and the strings of lights across the beams added a lovely ambience to the evening. (Note: We went through the venue to have the lights installed as they were less expensive than our catering/rental company for this task.)
Everyone we spoke to leading up to the wedding was very responsive and helpful – especially Stacey and Ben who assisted us with all of our last-minute questions as well as keeping us looped in on when we could have access to the venue to complete some small set up ahead of the big day.
A couple notes on logistics:
- They are VERY strict on the SOP/Liquor License here because they are a Ontario Heritage Property; there was some confusion on how to/if we could serve some champagne that was gifted to us by my parents. Even though I flagged it several times ahead of the wedding, there was still a need for my dad to clear things with the venue and caterer before the wedding, small bump, it all worked out.
- We had a total of 78 guests + staff and there was plenty of room in the great hall for the ceremony and dinner, we did have a live band though and had to remove a couple tables (one of them being the band’s table) before we started the live music portion of the evening so there would be room for a dance floor.
- The bar area was a bit too small for all of our guests to hang out in while they changed over the room for the reception, it was a bit of a rainy day so not everyone was keen on going outside - we had people spill into the classroom after we had finished the legal needs in there after the ceremony
- The caterers required a space in the corner on the north side of the hall, while the corner on the south side is ALWAYS used as storage – so keep that in mind when planning for the amount of space you may have.
- Acoustics were great for live music – I heard some people say they had a wonky experience with sound in this venue, but we felt things sounded great – we did rent a proper PA though and have a sound guy FYI
- If you’re looking for a “dance party” at the end of the night, I suggest you rent some coloured/flashing lights to create that mood.

Devoted To You Inc.
110 Cumberland St #332, Toronto, Ontario, M5R 3V5, Canada
Carmen is amazing! She is exceptionally organized, professional, detail oriented, responsive, and is always going above and beyond to deliver.
We hired Carmen for organizing our destination wedding in Cancun. From our initial consultation, we were already impressed by her understanding of our vision and her ability to recall all the details of the meeting. Throughout a year of planning, Carmen organized numerous touchpoints and is always eager to share her new ideas. She also managed a very detailed expense spreadsheet to keep us up to date on our wedding budget. On the days leading up to the wedding, Carmen took a lot off our plates by dealing with a few troublesome vendors to let us focus on final preparations. On top of planning for the wedding day itself, Carmen also helped us plan an excursion for our guests and a separate photoshoot day.
On the day of the wedding, Carmen was instrumental in making the day go perfectly. While we were busy doing photoshoots, Carmen was behind the scenes coordinating with our resort planner and vendors to ensure the decorations, reception, and entertainment go as planned.
My husband and I would wholeheartedly recommend Carmen and Devoted to You.
