Beautiful venue and the owners are amazing.

Was visiting to see offerings for weddings in the summer and was not disappointed. Update: We chose Beachwood to get married in August 2016, staff was super helpful and everything went just how we hoped. We get asked by our guests when we are all going to go back for another weekend.

Good for big events can be boring sometimes

Remember the old saying "You can't fight City Hall". Well in the case of Stratford City Hall, that appears to be the case. I arrived in town from Toronto to spend the weekend. I was running a little late for my 2pm performance when I parked a block away. I went in to get a slice of pizza and realized after spending about 15 minutes in the pizza place I realized I had neglected to put money in the metre. Letting my friend go off to the theatre, I circled back to feed the meter. I arrived to find a parking ticket on my windshield. RATS!. Ok ok I will pay it on line later. I pay the metre and rush to the theatre and enjoy a wonderful performance of Paradise Lost. Well later that evening as I looked at the ticket for the online address to pay I see two options, pay by mail or pay in person. I then realize that I could have run over to City Hall at intermission to pay the ticket. Now I need to find a cheque it has been about 5 years since I have written a cheque. I don't even know if I have any blank cheques. Lesson learned . Pay the metre.

Where to start - I had spoken with Kim regarding doing our wedding. She said no problem and would have a quote within a few days. Well it had been 2 weeks and no answers from her at all. Finally when I called, another employee picked up. I was informed that she didn't have time due to her other clients being a priority. Sadly our wedding was clearly not a priority to her. The poor customer service, time management, accountability and trust is the reason we will never count on you again.

Just had our wedding here and it was absolutely beautiful and the food was amazing!!!

The stratford white house was once a buetiful apartment building but is now set to be demolished, it breaks my heart.

Good for events

The innkeepers were extremely helpful and kind. Breakfast was amazing as was the coffee brought up to our room first thing in the morning. Will definitely be coming back.

Severn Lodge is the best vacation we hve ever had. Definitely on of Canada's hidden gems. From the accommodation, to the food, to the friendly staff, to the water sports.......you could not ask for more. This was our 3rd year there and cannot wait to go back next year. Love this place!

My sister ordered her dress here and received decent service. She naively paid for it in full before getting it altered and taking it home. Her fiancé passed away 2 months before the wedding. When she called in and again when my mother went in to ask for a refund for this unaltered dress, Susan did not consider that at all. She repeatedly mentioned, "When you bring the dress home" after hearing the full story. They were treated without compassion, no understanding for the death that just occurred. After a long chat with Susan, my mom finally got a "sorry for your loss" out of her. I would highly recommend shopping elsewhere.

One word discribes these photos we got from our wedding. Fantastic! Terry and Elisha were fantastic, professional and very well knowledgable about taking pictures. We just got our photos and we are trilled with how they turned out. My wife and I already had agreed if we will be going to terry again for future events we do. Thank you to both of you for the awesome day!
