Automotive Repair

I really like these guys personally but as a business they leave a little to be desired, mostly in communication. It can be very hard to get them on the phone to schedule appointments or ask questions. Their work has been good on our mid 80's 671 and 471 motors. Very knowledgeable on the vintage stuff. Hard to find anyone who works on them now.

Great place very helpful and always willing to work with you

Thay work on my 2001 dodge ram two times and thay did a good job and it was done the next day and I need it for work I was happy with the work

Don’t believe these bogus reviews. They are employees and friends. I gave these people 2 complete over hauls at $38,000 each and both were completely messed up. The tech “forgot” to tighten bolts and plug sensors in causeing failures on the road and blew a turbo and bull gear. Detroit admit fault and said they aren’t paying the repairs that the other Detroit fixed which was $15,000. 2nd rebuid took 2 months to do and went back into the shop 3 times. Don’t trust these rookies, go to Ocola. The manager’s word is worst than 💩.

Knowledgeable

Took us right in and did awesome work with a great price.nice to not be taken advantage of for once on the road. absolutely recommend to anyone.

Good mechanic

I had my turbo and cylinder heads done on a Mack truck at 1st Diesel and caught a greyhound bus back to Houston, Tx until they told me that it was ready. When it was done I went to pick it up and the cost was almost $7000 which was ok. At 1st the truck ran fine then I got loaded I ran for a while and the truck started to over heat. I called 1st Diesel to see what was wrong and explained what the truck was doing and they told me that while my truck was in the shop, they did notice that my cooling fan was on wrong and I asked then why didn't they fix it regardless of me being charged extra or at least warn me and let me know that it was on wrong. They let me know after I had got back on the road and over heated. I took my truck back by their shop to try to get to the bottom of the problem all they did was guessed and did nothing about it! I had no choice but to try to fix the truck myself I had to pay my company back for the repair loan. I replaced my fan clutch, water pump, thermostat, radiator, temperature sensor you name it, nothing worked! I started to lose antifreeze out of my overflow tank due to boiling over, I struggled and was on side of the road every week! I finally took it to my mechanic in Houston, Tx and he took my heads off to have them tested and sure enough one head was blown! The repair from 1st diesel didn't last me a full week! I was better off going to the Mack dealer in Birmingham, Al atleast they would have stood behind their work. I lost nearly $7000 and my bills suffered. My bill at my mechanic in Houston, Tx was another $4200 but at least it was done right! I used to love driving over the road but I won't drive over a 250 mile radius due to people taking advantage of you when you're broke down and need help. Sometimes it's just not worth seeking cheeper price! I learned a very expensive lesson! God is good and I'm thankful to be on the road again!!! Drivers especially Owner Operators beware!

Tim is an awesome mechanic! Always makes sure he is repairing the right problem. Great service and reasonable prices. Stands behind his work. You may not get it back the next day, but when you get it back, it will be fixed correctly. Customer for as long as my duramax lives. Thanks, Guys!!!

Ok

I was broke down ,they worked me in and got me going the same day. Received a follow up call next day just to make sure I was pleased .

Great people!

Great staff and great place to get your truck serviced.

He did what I wanted and gave me information to allow me to make the best decision for my truck. I would return if I'm in town again.

A+++ honest and professional service.

They def know what they r doing. We got screwed over by Zach at express diesel in tarrant and strokin diesel fixed what express diesel claimed they did, which was nothing but cause more headache and trouble for somebody else. They charged a very reasonable if not too cheap of a price for what he went through to fix our diesel. He kept his word on getting our work truck back in the time he said he would and we have had no problems. In fact our truck has run better than it did before. Highly recommend strokin diesel 😃

Great customer service. Friendly and some of the more honest mechanics in the area

As the owner of a local company it has been a great experience having our company auto repairs performed at Satterfield's auto tech! They are extremely accurate on diagnosis and the prompt turn around time on the repairs allows us to stay current on accounts! Thank you Satterfield's auto.

Great guy. If you need diesel work go here. These guys are awesome.

McClary Tire is the best. Dependable and friendly service. Wouldn't go anywhere else.
