Thanks Joe's Transmission Shop and AC Repair. After researching several local transmission shops, ended-up going here. They rebuilt my tired Audi Allroad transmission within a week - this is big job for these cars. I just went in for my two-week follow-up, and they were very thorough. Highly recommended.

We have a few trucks moving between Sarasota and Arcadia and my dad broke down in one of our trucks. We called many Mechanics leaving voicemail and nobody responded. We reached out to Joe and Mik after they were recommended by several parts stores as being incredibly talented and resourceful to fix almost anything. Joe promptly sent a starting estimate to us and after we issued our card information to him shortly after he arrived. They were able to diagnose and fix our fuel issue and get us back on the road. We were expecting the cost to be higher than a repair center but they were fair. It would have cost three times more and our time to have towed the truck and then take to a garage so we are so glad they were what we were told. We highly recommend to any commercial company to reach out to them. We will not hesitate in the future to use them and like I said they were the only people who called us back. Thank you Joe & Mik

Unprofessional and I believe they may contract some work out , left many items unplugged and drained ac unit , also made big mistakes that cost me big $$$$$ in the end , NOT HAPPY AT ALL .....

Wayne gave me excellent service on my brakes. Went through the whole process, even rotated my tires free as part of the service! Would definitely go back for other needed repairs.

Last summer June 2017 I brought my car to Stouts for the first time. After 2,100.00 worth of repairs (front and rear struts tie rods ball joint sway bat link) I was told me car was in top top shape. Don’t sell it. Hold onto it, etc. GREAT NEWS. Feb 2018 I bring my car in because it’s vibrating. I leave the car at 8 am. At 2 pm they call and tell me I need new brakes and new tires. EST 1,800. I say do everything except the tires. They do everything except the tires. The next day I go through all my receipts since I’ve owned the car and discover I had new front brakes installed 8,000 miles ago! I look at the date Dec 8, 2016 and realize I had been living at the VA HOSPITAL /Hospice Ward since Oct 1, 2016, as my boyfriend had agent orange brain cancer and I really had no memory of what I was doing those 3 months. But the fact remained why would they think I needed a brake job after 8,000 Miles? I took my rotors (after they had told me they had already been picked up by the trash guy) they “found” them I took them to another garage and the mechanic measured them. In no way did I need new brakes. I took this information back to Stouts. John said the owner, Jody would call me Monday. It’s Thursday and I hadn’t heard so I went back in and asked where was my phone call. John said he didn’t know. Also, my tires have at least another 20,000 Miles to go on them. When I told this to John he said well it’s just a suggestion when we quote. Really? So I would have said yes to the tires and paid another 400.00 that I didn’t need to? I’m female and 73. This is elder abuse. No customer service. Still waiting for Jody to call. I’ll update this if he does. Michelle’s Ultimate Car Care on 4th in St Pete I was told by my daughters friend is an honest place to go. You’re welcome. It’s funny how I complained a month ago and all of a sudden there are 3 five star reviews about Stouts (I did tell them I would give a bad review. Write BBB and so on.) Thank you for reading. If I could rate this place zero stars I would. Horrible experience here, Steve the service advisor was rude and ended up making me pay $98 for a vehicle inspection even though they have a sign outside stating “Free service Inspection”. The mechanics had a staring problem as if I had something written on my forehead and the inside waiting lounge was hot and uncomfortable. The prices they gave me were ridiculous and unbelievably high even though it was only my radiator that went bad, asking for $990 upfront ! NEVER take your car here unless you want to get ripped off, thank god I found a better auto service company with a friendly staff that charged me a reasonable amount for the exact service I needed on my vehicle.
